Quintessential North Bayfront Beach cottage just around the corner from Marine Avenue's shops and restaurants. Enjoy the front patio along the Boardwalk for the view, boating, and daily Island activity. This property has 3 bedrooms: a master with a king-size bed and adjoining bathroom, a queen-sized bedroom, and a bedroom with a double bed + twin trundle. The second bath is full and off the hall area. For the adventurist youth, there is a loft area that overlooks the living room below. The bedrooms have been recently carpeted and new TV’s have been added to the living room and bedrooms. The living room has a fireplace, the kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, and the front patio includes a charcoal BBQ. The garage has shared laundry and a one-car parking space. Lastly, there is almost always a large, sandy beach in front of the home.

Enjoyed our stay

Comfortable property, enjoyed our stay. Pros: Great location on Balboa Island, very short walk to Marine Ave and its shops and eateries. Fun to watch boats in the channel. Balboa Island is a treat. Property Manager Steve is very easy to deal with. Cons: Fees include $125 linen rental charge. They drop off linens and towels, it's up to the renter to put the sheets on the beds and pillow cases on the pillows. The noise from jets leaving John Wayne airport is pretty loud beginning at 7 a.m. Assume it would be the same anywhere in the vicinity. There is a small one car garage, and while parking a mid-size car was okay, we would have been reluctant to try parking a full size car in there. Street parking for visitors is difficult to find at times. Property needs a new roof. A portion of the roof and the skylight are covered with visqueen/tarp. We had some stiff winds and hard rain but there were no issues.
