Overview
Beach Happy is located on the top floor of a duplex. Clean and simple, that is what to expect as you relax at Beach Happy. The light-colored wood floors will remind you of the sandy beach, which is a few short steps away.
The charming brick fireplace centers the living room. Soft, natural textures and beachy patterns throughout this comfortable clean home, reflect Southern California Beach Life. With as many windows, as walls, the vibe here is light and airy. The ocean breeze is ever-present. Sunrises and sunbathing are easily enjoyed from the fully furnished, south-facing rooftop patio, and fabulous sunsets from the front, west-facing patio.
The kitchen is fully appointed with all of the necessary and convenient items. The dining area has a lovely farmhouse style table and chairs. Both bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen), are made up with lovely linens, ample closet space, mirrors, and ceiling fans in the event the ideal weather Newports known for isn’t completely perfect! The living room has two sleeper sofas which can be easily converted to accommodate additional sleeping arrangements.
Speaking of easy, pull right up and park in a garage! For those of you that know Newport, parking is a major premium and lucky for you there are two included! Beach cruisers are also on hand for those excellent bike rides down the boardwalk. We also have all the beach essentials to make your stay nice and easy. There is a washer and dryer in the garage as well if need be.
Besides having two great decks and parking, the place has 2 brand new 4k tv’s with DirectTV and the NFL ticket. It also comes with Netflix and has all the Roku smart tv features. We have Wifi at Beach-Happy because we understand nobody these days can pretend to live without it, although we do heavily discourage any work! Unless of course, you are a corporate professional who prefers a beach zen sanctuary over a Marriott. We also have a number of games in the closet for all ages in the event you want to pump up the fun.

Details
The master bedroom has a King bed and a full bathroom while the second bedroom is a roomy Queen bed. Both of the rooms have vaulted ceilings and are fitted with comfy soft blankets, pillows, fresh sheets, and plenty of closet space. Both bedrooms have a sliding door to the south-facing, sunny, extra-large rooftop patio. The most perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee, an afternoon sunbathing, or an evening sunset-inspired bbq.

The charming kitchen is ready to go, set up with everything you need to walk in and start your getaway. The front south-facing patio is the place to be for nightly sunset viewing. Glorious sunsets over the water may be the one thing that stays on your schedule each day. Life can be tough. Vacations should be easy.
Again, it’s all here; convenience, charm, sunny private patios, fluffy clean beds, light and bright living space, easy access to the beach. Be happy by the beach, or as we say “Beach Happy”.
Note: if you are an extremely light sleeper we are close to the coast highway. That being said, most of Newport that is near the beach is close to “coast” highway.

Great location to the beach. I LOVED that there were bikes and boards to use but had a hard time finding where they were in the garage. The unit itself was a bit dilapidated, smoke detector would not stop going off and 2 of them were off the wall. I let the host know and never received the batteries that were promised. The neighbor downstairs was a great help when I bumped into him while moving about the property. He showed me where the bikes were, Unfortunately we had already rented 3 bikes. He also showed me where in the garage the extra batteries were on our last day. The shower drain cover in the master bathroom was also slipping away from the hole and would have been pretty painfull had I not kept close eye on it.

Great Beach House Location in Newport Beach

Our stay at the Happy Beach House was wonderful. The house is in a wonderful location. All you have to do is cross Pacific Coast Highway and you are on the beach. The Lido Deck, Newport Pier, and Balboa are all no more than 1.5 to 2 miles away. I loved that this part of Newport is less crowded, but close to all the spots you may want to visit easily. The house is set-up with mostly everything you need. There are liquor stores, restaurants, and a wonderful coffee shop all within walking distance. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. We loved having two decks! Thank you!

The property location to the beach was good. There was beach access right across PCH and we were a couple miles from the pier. The house is right off PCH, which is noisy. There were plenty of little coffee shops/cafes/restaurants within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was not the cleanest and the refrigerator definitely needs to be replaced. The bathrooms need updating. The patios are nice, but again definitely need a good rinse down and the cushions need to be cleaned off. It was extremely nice to have a garage with enough parking space for two cars.

Nice rental property with a great location.

This rental property will not disappoint. We loved how close it was to the beach and it is a short bike ride (bikes provided) to the pier and shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed hanging out on both of the patios. The property owner was also very quick to respond to our questions. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our vacation and definitely look forward to returning.

Weekend away for Teachers

This was a great trip to a very clean, comfortable, and spacious house near the beach. The beach was a two minute walking distance, we used the house bikes for an evening ride to Huntington Beach, and sat out on the sunny porch to watch the gorgeous sunset. The living-room and kitchen has lots of seating. We had 5 adults and we had plenty of room. A lot of good food in the area including a cute coffee shop/ market next to the house. Great wifi for anyone who maybe works virtually. Would highly recommend!

A+ Vacation

This sunny and bright, breezy, beach house was the perfect place for our family's stay! Every room is filled with windows and gets great sunlight and ocean breeze. We slept soundly with the windows open and being located close to Pacific Coast Hwy was not a noise issue to us. Furnishings, bedding, and towels are in A+ condition. Love the decor and the owners sense of style!

Super trending and great location

The appartement was very clean, check in was easy. The decor is super nice,modern with a beachy feel. The beds and linen were very comfortable and high quality. All kitchen accessories and dishes were new looking. The only thing is the highway is close so you hear it a bit from the bedrooms but on the upside it’s a 3min walk to the beach

Great spot close to the beach!

Would stay at this place again. Very nice location. We loved the decks and having a garage for parking makes life a whole lot easier. One minor note for the master bedroom it would be nice to have two side tables instead of only one. Daniel was very quick and accurate in his communications .

Nice beach getaway.

Property is conveniently next to shops and restaurants. Great beach property. Walking and biking distance to the beach. The house was fully stocked and had all the necessary utensils to cook with and eat. They even had gourmet coffee and a coffee maker. We enjoyed the beach cruisers (they have 6 available). Overall, great stay and we we are looking forward to coming back in the summer.

Very convenient in Orange County

My family had a very pleasant stay. The host had thought of everything that can make stay very comfortable. There was a fully stocked kitchen, entertainment, sand toys for kids, beach cruisers, Frisbee, beach chairs/blankets and walking distance to the beach. Upon contacting Daniel we even got some pointers to some other local excursion spots. Very close to Fashion Island Mall. Brookhurst street has all the Grocery stores, Convenient store. Even though the property is very close to West Coast Highway, Daniel has white noise cancellation devices in the bedrooms to drone out all outside noise. That is going an extra mile. If we are back in the area I will definitely stay again.

Great beach house for our family!

Our family had the best stay! We loved the location (walked to the beach and short drive to Disneyland) and the back deck was amazing to hang out on. The beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards made it very convenient to relax at the beach. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
