The Leconte Tiny Home Overlooking the Pigeon River

Welcome to Whitewater Outpost. Escape to the mountains and relax. We are nestled at the edge of the Cherokee National Forest, overlooking the Pigeon River. Whitewater Outpost is situated on over 18 acres surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest. Conveniently located minutes off I-40 in Cosby, TN We are just minutes from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and outdoor recreational activities abound.

The space
The LeConte tiny home is a 10'x30' true tiny home. The home is in a permanent location hooked up to septic, power, and electricity. The loft space is not included in the dimensions and the tiny home has a comfy den, coffee/eating nook, kitchen with an electric stove and microwave, refriderator, and farm style sink. The bathroom has a residential styled toilet, a 32" shower stall, and a small sink for your hygiene needs. The bedroom and loft both offer queen size beds. The bedroom and den have ceiling fans and there is a mini split for environmental control for cooling and heating.

Enjoy the fire pit on the patio, grill out and have dinner overlooking the river, have a picnic along the river, hike out the back into the Cherokee National Forest, fishing or enjoy sitting by the river, plenty of ways to enjoy nature.

The LeConte is perfect for 2 adults or a small family. The loft is open on either sides upstairs, so not advised for children mobile under the age of 4.

Guest access:
Our guests have private parking during their stay. The parking area is gravel. No need for 4x4 wheel drive.
Smart lock for self check-in. Code issued 48 hours upon arrival.
There are stairs to the front door on the concrete patio.

Other things to note:

Please note this area is heavily wooded and with that comes insects, including but not limited to: stinkbugs and lady bugs. With heavy rain, wood roaches seek dry areas. We have regular, professional pest control services, and with your help to keep the door closed between comings and goings, our best efforts can minimize insects in the tiny home.
With our best efforts, however, insects occasionally find their way inside. If that will alarm you beyond your comfort level, you may want to consider staying somewhere else.

Please note there is NO WiFi, however, excellent cell service is present.
During your stay at this cabin, you're just a quick walk from Pigeon River.

We had a short stay here and it was exactly as we hoped for. Great location, very scenic but not too far away from other amenities! Wish we could’ve stayed another night! There are two dogs that hang out around the property and are very friendly yet are strays!
