Well equipped room but ....

The hotel is in the town centre of Newport, so the area gets very busy. Parking is a problem if you want to get close. The open air car parks a few mins walk away was the only option. There is a good stock of tea, coffee and wait for it.... Some "Lotus coffee biscuits!" Bed was comfortable ... But the biggest problem is noise. It travels through the walls and through the wooden floors as if your neighbouring guests are in the same room as you! Unfortunately some lads were in the adjacent room, watching TV and talking and laughing to nearly 1am!! If you're a light sleeper, this place won't work for you. There is also a charge of £8 extra for breakfast! This was not explained on the website when booking, or at the hotel until after I poured my morning coffee and cracked open a packet of cereal! Come on guys!! Make it clear!!

We are awfully sorry about the lack of toiletries. This was obviously an over sight. If you had asked any of our staff they would of been more than happy to give you a top up.

Good stay - in Center of Isle of Wight

Good stay in Newport City Center; Food/dinner Options rather low but good Restaurant opposite at the market place. Nice and cosy Pub; nice and comfortable Family room.
