Our room wasn't cleaned after 1st night. Brought fresh towels next day around 8pm after we were resting in bed after a long day visiting my sick brother. Breakfast dry, no flavor. Coffee luke warm, watered down & no flavor. Pancakes were dry & tough..hard to cut. Fruit was too ripe..very mushy. Pastries were all dry & tough to chew.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was okay if you like boiled eggs in a bag. Not what I remember from Embassy Suites. There was an omelette bar that we used once, it was not very good. Hotel is in disrepair. Broken tiles in every elevator. Poor paint jobs. Dingy carpets. We refused to walk around the room without socks on. Not sure if Embassy Suites has fallen back to the average or if it’s just this location. Had to pay for parking. Nothing stood out here as more than an average hotel, besides the high price. Considering their prices, an Air BNB is a much better option. I’m thinking we are done with Embassy Suites. Terrible value.

Unfortunately, our stay did not fully meet expectations. Our room lacked basic amenities such as shampoo and lotion. In addition, our breakfast experience was disappointing. The staff preparing omelettes and avocado toast were unfriendly and seemed to treat guests inconsistently.

Great location for Hampton University. Food options are great. Only issue is the beds and pillows are too soft.
