This beautiful home is set in a natural bush setting within walking distance of all amenities in a unique country village. Newstead is the gateway to Maldon, Castlemaine, Daylesford and Ballarat.
There are two queen-sized bedrooms, each with ensuites and walk-in robes.
The designer kitchen is fully equipped and has an espresso coffee machine.
Two separate living areas allow space and privacy.
The dining/lounge room overlooks a perfect alfresco area, complete with an outdoor fireplace.
Complimentary wine, chocolates, croissants and more complete the perfection.
The space
Luxury On Lyons is fully equipped with every luxury you could want or need. The chef's kitchen has a separate butler's pantry. There is also an espresso coffee machine and a pod coffee machine.
Croissants, jams, honey, butter, muesli, oats, coffee, tea and milk (including almond, oat and soy) are all provided for your breakfast.
A complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates are gifted for your enjoyment.
There are two separate living areas within the home, one within the main living area and the other at the other end, which is a quiet space to work or read.
There is a lovely alfresco area, complete with an outdoor fireplace. Sit and relax while the kangaroos feed nearby and watch the birdlife in this beautiful setting.
There are two private and separate bedrooms, both with ensuites and walk-in wardrobes. Each bedroom has lovely bush views. The queen-sized beds are incredibly comfortable, with quality linen and electric blankets for the cooler months. Each room has a reverse-cycle air conditioner/heater and ceiling fan.
Both bathrooms have walk-in showers. We provide quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and fluffy towels for your comfort.
The home is a five-minute walk to Newstead township, which provides an excellent cafe, hotel, bakery, supermarket (renowned for its bullboar pies), general store (with takeaway food), brilliant butcher shop (famous for its bullboar sausages), library, pharmacy, and post office—all within a five-minute walk from Luxury On Lyons.
The property is just 10 minutes from both Castlemaine and Maldon. Maryborough is 20 minutes,
Daylesford is 30 minutes, and Ballarat is 45 minutes.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be close to Welshmans Reef Bushland Reserve. You'll find features like free breakfast and laundry facilities. A kitchen and 2 bathrooms are available in the vacation home.

Firstly the house is absolutely stunning. The house had everything you can think of to make your stay enjoyable. The beds / bed sheets were like sleeping on a cloud. Kerry was so helpful & accommodating, communication was excellent and the house was outstandingly clean. I will 100% be going back and will definitely be recommending to anyone that is heading to the area. Thank you again Kerry Pat on the back for such a beautiful home you have created for all to enjoy

Newstead Gem of a House

This property is a new house equipped with all conveniences. Even a fully operational laundry and 2 coffee machines. The list goes on…..We really enjoyed our stay here. The cold nights were enhanced by heating in lounge and bedrooms along with electric blankets on the beds. All brand new.A butlers kitchen adjoined the kitchen lounge area.Newstead is a quaint town in central Victoria. Recommendation:You need to stay at least a couple of nights - longer would be better - to soak up the warmth of the hospitality and the home.
