Nice, quiet and clean

Pros: Spacious, clean room with good facilities
Cons: The TV reception was poor
The room was clean and spacious. I was a little disappointed not to be in the main building and had a view over the car park rather than the river, but it suited my needs well. The hotel was not so easy to find.

Just had a peaceful spa retreat for a couple days!

Location: The Passage Inn by the river is an added bonus! Good quality local food and drinks with lovely and friendly staff. Public footpath leads you to town.
Very clean and modern room with balcony and facing beautiful scenic views of the river and hills. Comfy bed and adequate good size bathroom with bath and shower. Staff are friendly and efficient both in the spa and the restaurant. The swedish body massage I had was very relaxing. Swimming pool is on the small size but mostly quiet with few guests. The steam room in the ladies changing area was out of order at the time so I used the dry sauna instead. Good shower and changing facilities throughout. Plenty of parking spaces. A good lovely quiet hotel tucked away from town.

Convenient 2 night stop over. Handy location

Pub and music closeby. Convenient for exploring area, sadly couldn't stay longer as attending event in North Devon. Would be happy to return, and would hope weather might be better!

Did the job

Good hotel for cost shame did not have time to make more of the gym and pool, carpet could have done with a good cleaning seemed dirty rest was quite cleen
