Bothy 2 is divine, a stunning renovation on the farm. The rooms are lovely, sitting in front of the fire after a day exploring the harbour and neighbouring towns are the perfect way to finish the day. A memorable stay for all the family.. 1 step to entrance.

Inside, the bothy offers a warm and inviting open-plan living space with a handmade oak staircase designed for comfort and relaxation. After a day exploring the surrounding coastline and countryside, gather around the cosy seating area and enjoy a quiet evening together. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area make it easy to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, whether it’s a hearty breakfast before a day out or a relaxed supper in the evening.
Upstairs, the accommodation comfortably sleeps four guests. The spacious king-size bedroom provides a restful haven, while the twin room with two single beds is perfect for children, friends, or additional family members. A modern shower room completes the accommodation, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. Outside, guests can enjoy the enclosed patio area – an ideal spot for morning coffee, alfresco dining, or simply taking in the peaceful rural surroundings.
There is plenty to see and do nearby. The picturesque village of Port William is just a short drive away, where you can stroll along the harbour, watch fishing boats in Luce Bay, and visit the village’s famous bronze statue known locally as “The Man.” The Machars Peninsula offers beautiful coastal walks, quiet beaches, and abundant wildlife.
Nature lovers will enjoy visiting Monreith Beach, a peaceful stretch of coastline where seals are often spotted basking on the rocks.
