Niagara Crossing & Spa staff were quick to respond to any of my questions & concerns. When I needed help with personal interest not related to my stay, Sam & Megan quickly provided me with recommendations, resources & places to go that would help me. All Niagara Crossing staff members were friendly, kind & professional. Special thanks to Sam, Sarah, Megan & Abby that helped me above & beyond hospitality goal to accommodate & enjoy ourselves during my stay. All staff members, including Groundskeeper/Maintenance (which kept guest safe especially from snow, ice & lobby area upkept), Housekeeping & Bartender, greeted me warm greetings & a smile. I could tell everyone was compassionate about their jobs & enjoyed being at work during my entire stay. We were really comfortable in our room & had a beautiful view of the Niagara River. Breakfast was served with a variety of options, all day juice, coffee, cocoa, tea with beautiful lobby decoŕ, open bar on Friday & Saturday, great dinner menu options & beautiful/spacious event room. On my next visit to the Historic Niagara Crossing & Spa, I plan to take advantage of the One Bedroom apartment & Spa package(s). Thanks to Randy for the detail information on the apartments & assistance at 6am. My 11 year old & I would definitely recommend Niagara Crossing & Spa to you, our family & friends. This hotel has some nice aspects. Right on the Niagra River. Our Kingsize Riverview room was spacious. The electric fireplace was charming and we really enjoyed it. ( Visited in January) Downside- the hotel really is showing wear and tear despite a thick slathering of stucco like plaster everywhere to cover up the bad walls. For such a large room the space lacked reasonable furnishing. No where close to the shower to put a towel. Not a hook or bar. No closet just a tiny rack to hang a few items. Only one armchair to use in front of the fireplace. There was a desk chair that we pulled up. Coffee service in room was meager. The bar and restaurant downstairs was stocked, had menus but was never open the entire weekend. Cleaning/linen service every 3 days. They charge $15 if you want it an extra day. Towels so stiff and flimsy I thought I was at Motel Six. This hotel is trying to be luxurious but ammenities, furnishings and service etc are bargain basement.

Our overnight stay was lovely. Our room was large and our bed comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace too. We wish the bar was open a bit later for food. We walked from and to the lower parking area with a bit of caution as the steps and walkways were a bit icy.

We needed a late check out and the staff was very accommodating. Our room was interesting and comfortable. Strange layout with a bathroom in the hallway and tv next to bed in odd place for viewing. We could have used more counter space in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. Parking was lacking. Not enough on site. No street parking. Too chilly a walk from public lot nearby. But we would book again if in the area.

Home away from home!

We enjoy staying at this home away from home. We stay here a few times a year and never have a poor experience. Staff is courteous and the hotel is well cared for. The local shops and restaurants keep us coming back too.

I didn't like my room due to the fact that the person that was above me on the 4th floor made unbearable for my husband and I to enjoy our Anniversary. They paced all night and all morning on the floor. Wrost night ever. It felt like I was in apartment building.
