I don't have much to complain about, I really enjoyed my stay, it was very easy to get to Clifton Hill and you get a good view of the falls from the hotel area. I think it would be even better if there wasn't an extra charge for the in-room wifi, but I managed. I enjoyed the area and staff was nice so I'll come back.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The service was great when we first got there and they even upgraded us to a fallsview room which was really nice of them. Unfortunately, the room you could barely see the falls (which I didn't mind too much because we originally didn't have a fallsview anyway) and after taking a shower I cut my foot on something in the washroom, we think it was a piece of glass or maybe even sharp plastic which we reported to the hotel. We parked in the hotel parking that was $40 for one night (which is pretty pricy but we were ok with this because we assumed our car would be safer there). But when we went back to our car the next morning, someone hit our car pretty badly and didn't leave a note. The bumper of our car was ripped out and the light shattered. I was shocked, when we asked security to see the cameras he chuckled a bit and said unfortunately where we parked is the only floor not covered by cameras. I had to cancel all our plans to deal with this issue and we reported it to the police who said they can't do anything as there is not enough information about the accident. Anyway we learnt our lesson to buy a camera for our car after this. We won't be going back to this hotel, although the staff is really nice and accommodating. I feel like the hotel doesn't really do enough to keep the guests staying there safe.

Nice view, balcony, but...

We chose this hotel because of the balcony and views, I would not stay again. I thought about asking for a different room, but it was pretty booked out and decided I could live with it for the few days we were there. The lobby was very nice, check in was smooth, when we got off the elevator on our floor, was hit with old hotel smell. Our room was ok, a little small but at least no smell. The bathroom was very small with a pedestal sink, no vanity or shelving to put anything. I had to keep moving my toiletry bag, couldn't unpack it like I prefer, it sat on the back of the toilet. They put towels, etc on the dresser in the room due to no space in the bathroom. A shelf above the toilet and/or beside the sink would have helped. Very electrical outlet deficient as well. One side of the bed had an outlet so at least my husband could plug in his c-pap machine. I had to charge my phone during the evening, across the room since I didn't have an outlet. The patio was nice, but the pavers were wobbly and the wrought iron taking could use some paint. Despite the updates needed, we did enjoy sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching the fireworks at night.

The accessibility to Clifton Hill Street was great and it was so close to waterfall. I wish the breakfast were included in the fee same as the majority of the hotels around the would but it was not. Charging 25 dollar for hotel service was not logical and parking space for the guests should be out of charge. I want to tell you that although I was told 260 dollar per night but it was jumped to 330 (hotel service and parking!!!) but apart from the above notes i was satisfied with my staying and we enjoyed.

A Room with A View

We were graciously upgraded to a top-floor suite with an amazing view of the falls. The nice Reception person (Anna) also helped us make a restaurant reservation for the evening. Breakfast was decent. The room had some problems with toilet flushing and door closing but they did not spoil our stay. The option of lower/softer pillows would be nice.
