Balcon Honoré - Old Town / Promenade des Anglais - 2nd floor without elevator

Balcon Honoré is a spacious apartment consisting of two main rooms, with a SOUTH-FACING balcony, a charming view of the beautiful Nice buildings, local vegetation and in the distance a view of the sea and the Bay of Angels.

What a magnificent idea to enjoy a glass of Bellet wine from one's balcony, overlooking the vegetated alleys of the Old Town. A few minutes on foot to discover the merchant streets, to catch your metro to go directly to the airport in 20 minutes, or to relax at the beach on the Promenade des Anglais.

FLOOR/BUILDING

The two floors to access your apartment are easily climbed by stairs in a typically Nice building, very well maintained and without a lift.

DISTRICT

This charming street is very quiet, with pétanque players as neighbours. Nearby, all food shops, a wide choice of restaurants, good bakeries and all forms of transport are in the immediate vicinity.

STAY

The living room is open to the large balcony. The large sofa and its armchair will comfortably welcome you. For your leisure, there is a television, as well as WIFI, a beautiful collection of books and a fan. A large contemporary mirror, two coffee tables and lovely side lamps in a warm atmosphere. The balcony accessible from the living room, with an incredible charming view, will be your ideal place to relax and have your meals.

COOKING

The elegant kitchen, open to the living room, is well equipped. It has a fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, and a large round table with its four chairs.

BEDROOM

The room has a double bed, two bedside tables with lamps on each side and a television. A wardrobe offers plenty of storage space.

BATHROOM

The modern and monochrome bathroom consists of a shower, a washbasin and a mirror. There is a separate toilet next to the bedroom.

How to get to my accommodation in Nice upon arrival

I chose to arrive by air

Upon arriving at the airport, a wide range of transport options are available to you to get to your apartment:

The tram - The best market: Line 2 will depart in front of terminals 1 & 2, serves the entire city on the Sea Side, from the airport to Nice Port, in 25 minutes. All stations pass through Fabron, Grosso & Gambetta for the Flowers district, Alsace Lorraine and Jean Médecin for the Musicians, Gold or Masséna districts, the Pin district and finally the Port district.
A connection with line 1 is made at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.
A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.

Taxis: The most direct: They are present at each terminal 1 & 2. 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is an official fixed rate that must be applied + the baggage rate. Make sure to inform yourself well and specify it to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card.

The bus: The shuttle to the airport (bus 98) is both cheap and convenient. It runs every twenty minutes during the day and will drop you off in the city centre, near Nice Thiers Station.

I chose to arrive by train

The tram - The best market: To get to line n°1, exit to the left of the station and go down towards Thiers Avenue until Jean Médecin Avenue (indicated by signage). Trams pass every five minutes and the ticket has a low cost. Line 1 serves the centre and the two northern districts of Nice.
A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.
A connection with Line 2 (Airport / Port) is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.

Taxis: The most direct: 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is no fixed package. The driver must mandatorily activate his meter before leaving the station. You will only have to pay the fare displayed upon arrival + the luggage rate. Make sure to inquire and specify this to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card.
Do not forget to have the complete address ready to be given to the driver.

I chose to arrive by car

There is always a public car park near your place of residence. The rate is:

• On time
• Per 24-hour day
• Per week
• Per month

It may prove to be more interesting to pay for a week rather than per day for stays longer than 4 days, and so on. Check the rate grid carefully at the parking entrance or go to the security post as soon as you are parked.
