We were upgraded to the largest suite which was a lovely surprise. It had 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms and a large lounge with small kitchen. Room was really quiet; we never heard any doors banging etc and it was well located with shops and restaurants close by. I would highly recommend the Goldstar Suites Nice.

Comfortable family suite

Comfortable hotel & great location for seeing Nice on foot. However, slightly disappointed to find breakfast not included despite general impression to contrary on website. Access to private beach, as residents of hotel, needs to be pre-booked & hotel should share all such relevant details, including charges for sun-loungers, parasols, changing rooms, etc., with guests upon arrival Day 1. Otherwise, as a family, we enjoyed our 4 night stay with this hotel, as it allowed us to easily visit on foot & see all that Nice has to offer, incl. Prom. Des Anglais, Vieille Ville, shopping, restaurants & train station, etc.

Deserved gold star!!!

Fab hotel just 3 blocks from the beach promenade & 5 mins walk from old town & shopping area. Hotel it self was excellent with good room size & great staff. I would give it 10 out of 10. This was the third time that I was in Nice and the best hotel by far. Its worth the extra Euro. I will be back and the only complaint was that I had to leqve to come home to reality.

short stay

Me and my mom stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach and the same distance to the pedestrian street where you can find many restaurants. The rooftop area has a great view overlooking Nice and there is a small pool. We stayed in a suite which had a small kitchen and a living area so there was loads of space for the 2 of us!

Lucky find!

The hotel was as described our suite was a good size (there were three of us sharing) with everything we needed. We were in a good location nowhere was far to walk and even though we were in a busy location could not hear traffic noise in the rooms. The staff were very friendly and efficient it seemed as if nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly go back to this hotel again when we are in Nice.

Great area

Nice Hotel very convenient, for old town and restaurants. Staff very helpful. Kitchen not that well equipped, only microwave without instructions, small hob and no toaster, it did have a dishwasher but not enough crockery to use it.

Enjoyed our Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Goldstar and found the staff very helpful. The location is a 10 mins walk to Nice centre. Some minor issues:- - Could not connect ipad to wi-fi in bedrooms. - Could not access english speaking TV. - On departure was asked about a missing TV remote when only one was present when we arrived.
