Overrated, Old, Unkempt

The hotel room was dirty (stained carpets, moldy bathroom), cramped, and had zero sound proofing. I could hear everything from both rooms on either side of me, and the doors leading to the balcony just a few feet off the ground floor did not lock. The room was incredibly overpriced for the quality.

Hotel Oasis was a cute and charming little hotel located on a quiet street, with parking on-site. Our room was small but ample and had a nice little balcony looking over the parking lot and garden area. Our room was on the 2nd floor but there is a small elevator to get your bags up. Off the elevator, you still must go another 6 steps up or so. The location was walkable to several cafes and restaurants, and the beach. Staff was warm and welcoming. They have a small restaurant on-site and offer breakfast (expensive) in the garden area. Unfortunately, the walls of the rooms are paper-thin and we had one noisy neighbor that came in late, and another couple that had very loud sex!

It looks like a 3-star hotel from the outside but once in your room, it feels like a 5-star. The room was brand new, beautifully decorated and spacious for France. They kindly let us check in a bit early once the room was ready. Good location between the train station and beach. Nice bathroom. Good air conditioning. Very modern.

Great hotel close to the train station

We arrived a day early but they managed to offer me a room. So we stayed for 2 nights instead of 1. The guy on reception was amazing.

Reception not signposted. Reception staff unwelcoming, indifferent, unhelpful. Other staff distant - seemed unhappy in jobs. Breakfast offering very average. Great location. Also parking. There were restaurants that you could walk to. Parking was tight but we could get our larger car in space. Hard to find entrance to hotel. Look for sign for restaurant Oasis. Hotel is a bit dated. Shower was very small. Did not provide coffee machine or kettle to boil water.

A Charming Hotel Where Chehov Stayed

We thought his was a charming hotel, very conveniently located. The restarant was good, if not a tad pricey. Breakfast was full and satisfying.
