Good location, cold AC, has potential

We booked this place to be in town for the Feria. We were mostly interested in the proximity to the town center, the AC and the charming brick ceilings. The place was clean but smelled of stale smoke and we were not given enough toilet paper and duvet covers. The communication left something to be desired as we were not always given clear instructions regarding xheck-6 and check-out procedures. The decor and furnishings were ecclectic. The disco lights and modern furniture seemed an odd choice with the rustic ceilings. If this were my place I'd invest a little in furniture and decor corresponding to the historic character of the region. It would also have been helpful to provide a binder with useful information regarding things like wifi, trash procedures, how to use appliances, nearby grocery stores etc...
