A lovely holiday apartment with a private terrace.
Use this as a starting point for excursions to the Moselle, Rhine, or Hunsrück regions.
Great hiking and cycling trails. Good transport links. Free parking. Electric car charging stations nearby.
Our cozy, 70-square-meter holiday apartment invites you to relax and unwind. It features a large, well-equipped kitchen and two bedrooms: one bed measuring 180 x 200 cm, a second bed on the mezzanine (160 x 200 cm), and a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm).
Many castles, towns, wildlife parks, and "Traumschleifen" (premium hiking and cycling loops) are nearby—such as the Geierlay Loop, home to Germany’s most beautiful suspension bridge.
The romantic town of Boppard is well worth a visit; enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Rhine followed by a lovely dinner at one of the many riverside restaurants.
Koblenz, the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley, offers an almost endless array of diverse and impressive experiences.
A ride on the cable car across the Moselle to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress is a highlight, as is enjoying an evening of culture at Café Hahn, a popular music and cabaret venue. A small cultural association is also located near the apartment, offering theater, cabaret, and live music in Beltheim-Sevenich—a true cultural hub in the Hunsrück region.
In Emmelshausen, you will find the "Zap" cultural center, which boasts a fantastic program of events and a beer garden.
The historic castle town of Kastellaun is another impressive destination.
It offers an exciting blend of tradition and modernity; slate, quarry stone, and half-timbered houses define the old town's appearance, while the medieval castle ruins rise up from a steep cliff in the very center of town. There are also great shopping opportunities here.
Excellent shopping can be found in the town of Emmelshausen, located 5 km away. The Hunsrück Railway runs from there to Boppard—a very scenic route that we highly recommend.
Boat trips on the Rhine or Moselle are well worth it, and all these destinations are easily accessible from Norath.
Edgar Reitz’s film *Heimat* was also shot nearby,
and the "Günderrodehaus" as well as the filming locations
can be visited from here.
Good accessibility by car, bus, train, bicycle, or on foot.
