I was prepared to write a scathing review after the elevators being down, lack of friendly service at the restaurant check in, and the room service mishap (no silverware or coffee even after I called and they said they were on their way ), but they redeemed themselves with a lovely woman who worked the front desk and went above and beyond to save my business and she did. I should’ve gotten her name. She’s a star.

Great location

We booked a corner room with river great views. The location allowed us to walk everywhere. The king size bed was very comfortable. The sofa was made for looks, ot comfort.i We were there for a popular event and the place was full so waiting for elevators was a thing. Staff was pleasant but told us they couldn’t validate our parking because we booked through Hotels.com so that was irritating.

From my arrival Zaharia checked me in! She has the heart of leadership, her question to me was” how can I make your stay better?” And she did! I want to thank her for her caring and sharing, I was there for the jazz band competition, and the band from Huston Tollison was the first winner, my reason for being there! No issues with my room I want the hotel to get top rating. Leroy and Antoine from the concierge were very professional and such a pleasure to talk to!!

I was not informed on any of the benefits I paid for. Nothing was relayed at check in. Not even where the elevators are, which are hidden. Didnt get to use any of the extra benefits I paid for because no one informed us. Took 4 hours to get someone up to the room to fix the tv that would not turn on. The front desk girl was dismissive. I paid alot for a room and was not notified of any of the benefits I had. Waste of money.
