In this personally decorated cottage from the early 1900s, you can enjoy rural charm and modern comforts. The house is secluded on its own gravel road and has a lovely view of grazing cows and wild animals that often visit the garden.



The house has a genuine and charming character that offers a unique stay. The house offers modern comfort in the form of a newly built indoor shower, carefully integrated to preserve the genuine and original cottage feel. For those who want to fully enjoy the summer days, there is also a charming outdoor shower available.



Inside, you are greeted by a spacious kitchen that invites long dinners and game nights. The generous living room with its cozy sofa group creates the perfect environment for relaxation. The house is decorated with an exciting mix of inherited furniture and hand-picked second-hand finds.



The slightly wild garden is adorned with traditional cottage flowers and apple trees, perfect for both play and relaxation. Along one short side of the property, the forest begins where you can pick berries and mushrooms when the season is right.



From the nearby swimming lake, you can enjoy fantastic sunsets, and within five kilometers there is a child-friendly beach. Norrtälje town is only 15 kilometers away with its range of cafes and restaurants. The area offers a rich cultural life with farm shops, arts and crafts, and historic industrial environments.

A fantastic and cozy rural getaway close to shops and not far from Stockholm. The cottage had everything we could have asked for. Games, puzzles, and more for cooler days, and a wooden deck with a pool for warm days. The kids had a great time. The kitchen was great, too.

We felt very comfortable during our 5-day stay. None of our expectations were disappointed. The house is situated in a wonderfully quiet spot in the woods. It’s decorated with great care and offers everything you could wish for. The garden is spacious and in excellent condition. Since we were there with friends, we also used the annex. It, too, had everything we needed. The highlight is the pool, which we were able to use every day. We wanted for nothing. The surroundings were quiet and close to the woods, so we could hear the birds chirping above all else. Not too far away are other vacation homes and a farm that also runs a very good farm stand.

A lovely, authentic vacation home—just as you’d imagine a secluded Swedish farmhouse to be, in peaceful and private surroundings—but with all the modern amenities you could need. Beautiful and cozy garden. The house is also cozy and has a really nice kitchen. The pool is a huge plus—it’s heated—so it can be used on days when the weather is a bit cloudy. The entire patio area works well—great grill. Good communication with the host—quick responses. Would definitely come back.
