The host, John, was prompt to reply for check-in procedures when asked and gave thorough information for wi-fi access and check-out procedures without prompting.The apartment was clean. It is upstairs, so not handicap accessible if that is what you need.The beds were very soft/ memory foam.The train tracks and a crossing are nearby, but it's a no-horn area, so it's not as bad as other trains. The other units were all occupied while we stayed, so it wasn't exactly quiet, but there is a white noise machine in the apartment.Lots of local shops, parks, and restaurants were walkable from the apartment, and the apartment is stocked with adequate utensils for light cooking as well.We were able to get to Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island within 15 minutes by car while staying at this apartment.Overall, we're grateful to have been able to stay at this property. It was clean and convenient with a courteous host.

While the apartment itself was small but adequate for our brief stay, our experience was significantly marred by the behavior of the downstairs neighbors. On Sunday night, we returned to find a large party in full swing, with loud music, people loitering in the parking lot, and the smell of marijuana. This created a very uncomfortable and unsafe environment.Despite messaging the owner immediately at 11:30 PM, we only received an apology the next morning. This response was not sufficient, especially considering we later learned that a friend of my niece's sister had stayed at the same property two months ago and experienced the same issue. This suggests that such disturbances are a regular occurrence, which the owner may be aware of.Given the recurring nature of this problem, it is clear that more proactive measures need to be taken to ensure the safety and comfort of guests. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by this incident, and we did not feel safe.

Bitter sweet

Host didn’t respond in a timely manner. Also after I asked for late check out he offered that he had other rentals and I informed him that I was waiting for him to let me know because I had no where to go. He didn’t respond for a couple of hours and finally messages me and says that I need to get out so me and my family got our stuff and sat in the parking lot until we found somewhere to go but while we were packing up the cleaners came and then quickly left, it was about an hour that had gone by and the host messages me and tells me again to get my belongings out of the property because the cleaners were there and they couldn’t clean because our stuff was in there. But that wasn’t the case the cleaners weren’t even there and we had already got our things out of the house. And then I burned incense they help me meditate and I guess they think I was smoking in the house but it was ashes from the incense. Now I owe him 800 Even though there was no hot water the whole time I stayed also all the drains were clogged including the toilet.. and there were no extra linens. I even messaged him and told him and he would send someone to look at it and never did. We took cold showers while we were there.

This quaint apartment met all our needs for a quick get away with my husband. We did hear the nearby trains and the furnace when it switched on and off but it didn't keep us from getting good rest. I would stay again.
