This community was originally developed in the 1940's for our military men and women fighting in WWII. Casa Sol offers complimentary coffee and a well supplied kitchen with spices for the gourmet chef. The back yard is ready for a barbecue equipped with gas grill, picnic table, and fire pit. Sleeps 7 comfortably. Enjoy!!

Our first visit to Charleston was busy and Casa Sol as a home base worked very well for itsproximity to the airport, convenience for visiting S. Charleston and Mt Pleasant. We really appreciated the little extras( spices, olive oil, paper plates and so much more) which made getting out to explore so much easier than extensive shopping for all the ‘little things’. Thank you for a nice stay.

The place was really cute. Accurate description, had all the things in the kitchen that I needed to cook for our small family. The communication was great with the owners. The only thing I will say is that I wasn’t really sure about staying in that part of town. All of the guest comments were positive and the couple were very kind when I reached out about my concerns, but we did not complete our stay due to this. We stayed one night and chose to stay somewhere else the second night. Having my family with me meant I wanted to make sure we felt very safe and there was a loud party going on the second night with a lot of people outside and we just didn’t feel comfortable. This was a no reflection of the owners or the house itself, but the area.

Cute little bungalow

Property is located close to down town. Everything we did was only about 15 minutes away . The schooner ship was our favorite . We also enjoyed the dinner cruise and the carriage ride was amazing . The owner was responsive and even came out when the tv was giving us issues . The house is cute and they added little touches to make it homey and inviting . Charleston was fun!

Spring Break in Charleston

What a great little property. Perfect for our family of 5. What a wonderful welcome! Upon arrival the place was decorated for the Easter weekend (which our kids loved)! Great location within 5 miles of grocery/Costco plus 15 minutes from downtown Charleston/patriot point and less then 30 minutes from the beaches and historical sites. This is a great home base. As an FYI the listing didn’t include that they have a washer and dryer but they do as well as a well stocked kitchen. We would stay again on our next Charleston excursion.

Interior was great!

Interior was great! Exterior could use some cosmetic work. Neighborhood... I read the reviews and I was prepared for it, but it was a little worse than what I had imagined. My teenage kids gave me an earful. Also, no restaurants nearby. That said, my wife and I would stay there again. Seriously, the interior of the home was great... ABOVE my expectations. Great hosts!
