The outer door was locked upon my arrival and I had to wait for the attendant to let me in the building as the attendant was not at their station. Lock on my door was damaged. Sheets appeared clean but stained. Taking care of the little stuff would make for a better impression and stay

We were somewhat disappointed with our stay at the Baymont. Upon arrival and departure, there was no front desk staff available—just a sign on the door with a phone number to call for assistance. The building was undergoing interior renovations, and construction materials were stored in the stairwell, which we had to use to access our room. Additionally, the side door had duct tape over the locks, raising serious concerns about security. While the room itself was clean, there were visible patches on the walls that hadn't been sanded or painted, giving it an unfinished appearance.

Bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Sink in bathroom did not drain. Our stay was for 3 nights and we had no maid service any day. Had to ask for clean towels on our second night. Asked to have the drain checked on first morning and it was not taken care of. Maybe it will get better as they were going through a remodel but would not stay again anytime soon

The TV didn’t work the first night and they couldn’t do anything about it. The second night, we were given a room that was good (nothing broken or any issues). 20 minutes later, we were told to move to a different room—no explanation give. The new room had a cracked mirror and the closet’s latch was broken. Good price for the holiday weekend.

Beware: Uncleanliness

We check in and then went to car to make some phone calls, which took about an hour. We were in the room for a few mins to check everything was good. My husband and I then began to see tiny black bugs on bedsheets, long black hairs under sheets, and yellow stains on the sheets. We turned the TV on and it didn't work correctly and the room only had one lamp not two like their pictures . It was being renovated but was opened. They had opened boxes of toilets outside and some old stained sheetrock. I was so upset, I had to have my husband do all the talking while I figured out a different place to stay. We were driving for 9 hours and were exhausted. This made everything stressful. I just want a full refund. I used my husband's card so it needs to go back on their or refund my card in full and I will give him the funds. We didn't stay there and we will be planning on writing a Google review to beware.

The hotel is old and not maintained. Ground floor rooms had no drainage from the sink or tub. To brush your teeth the sink filled up and took forever to empty. And one of the taps leaked onto the sink top. We complained but no one looked at it; an ongoing problem. Breakfast choices very limited. And the tv in the breakfast room was tuned into a religious channel! Really? The carpet in the room was damp and filthy and the temperature in our room and our friends room was set on 64 degrees when we arrived. Probably to inhibit mildew. Freezing! Aside from that, we had no interaction with staff. No amenities. It was cheap. But not THAT cheap. Spend the money and go elsewhere.

Anthony was very helpful if we needed anything. Breakfast was a continental breakfast as expected. Coffee was very good. Room was clean and bathroom was recently remodeled. However, Lightning in bathroom is not very bright and bathroom fan wasn’t working. TV channel selection was not terrific and was confusing as it didn’t match the channel listing that was to the left of the TV. I would stay there again. Not having a pool was disappointing.
