Unplug and unwind on our working bee farm in our well-insulated, off-grid tiny home set on 12 peaceful acres of rolling countryside. Enjoy complete privacy with no neighbours in sight, sip a drink on your private deck as bees return to their hives, relax by the firepit under star-filled skies, wake to birdsong, explore nearby National Park walking trails, and savor fresh honey with ingredients for a hot, hearty breakfast on your first morning.

THE PROPERTY

Gum-lined creek with a road wrapping it for strolling, multiple paddocks, 2 cows, and a paddock full of beehives.

The tiny house sits in its own fenced paddock. Fencing is suitable for cattle (not dog-proof if off-leash).

A short walk over the weir takes you past a neighbouring macadamia nut farm and into Gympie National Park, with multiple walking tracks to explore.

2 Night Romantic Escape at the Bee Farm

Day 1 – Arrive at your off-grid tiny home, explore the paddocks and meet the cows before enjoying a drink with the peaceful farm views from your private deck as bees return to their hives. Take a walk to the top of the Mac Nut Farm for a sunset picnic. Then unwind on the deck before lighting the firepit under a sky full of stars.

Day 2 – Wake to birdsong and enjoy fresh honey with hot breakfast on the verandah. Visit Mothar Mountain Rock Pools for gentle walks or a refreshing rainforest dip, then explore local gems like Dingo Creek Winery, Amirita Park Meadery, Pomona Distilling Co (gin tasting) or Gympie weekend markets. Or why not treat yourself with deeply relaxing, private spring bath experience set in nature at Kin Kin Bathhouses. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the tiny home, or wandering the creek-lined paths. End your escape with a romantic sunset on the deck and stargazing by the firepit — the perfect way to reconnect and unwind. Or head into The Dolly for tapas and cocktails.

Day 3 - Take a short drive to Gympie to grab a coffee at Soma Soma Gympie for a leisurely stroll in the nearby Victory Heights mountain bike trails before checking out.


3 Night Family Escape at the Bee Farm

Day 1 – Arrive in the afternoon at your off-grid tiny home and settle in. Explore the paddocks, climb the paddock treehouse, and meet the cows. Kids will love watching the bees return to their hives. Enjoy a peaceful drink on your private deck as bees return to their hives, then take a short walk along the creek or around the property. In the evening, light the firepit for marshmallows, stories, and stargazing under the clear country skies.

Day 2 – Wake to birdsong and enjoy breakfast on the verandah with fresh honey and hot ingredients provided. Spend the day at Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, enjoying gentle walks, swimming, and exploring the surrounding rainforest. On the way back, visit local attractions such as the Gold Mining Museum, or the Wood Museum for a bit of history and exploration. Return to the farm for board games and end the day relaxing on the deck, watching the sunset over the paddocks.

Day 3 – After breakfast, take a day adventure with your BYO motorbikes on the property trails or nearby country roads for a fun family ride. Alternatively, explore more of the Noosa Hinterland walking trails, or take a scenic drive to nearby Kin Kin and Pomona towns for local sights. Return to the farm in the afternoon to unwind, take a short walk to the top of the Mac Nut Farm for a sunset picnic, and relax with the kids before another evening under the stars.

Day 4 – Enjoy breakfast and a coffee at SoMa SoMa Espresso & Bar. Stretch your legs on the Victory Heights mountain bike trails on your way back to the farm before checking out.
