Welcome to “Your Retreat” in downtown North East, Maryland. We have a charming Main St surrounded by a variety of homes, restaurants and shops- all only 3 blocks away. We have a scenic town park with picnic tables, pavilions, and a large playground. We are located at the head of the North East River, so we are afforded all of the leisure activities the water provides. Close proximity to I-95 makes travel easy. Welcome and make yourself at home- Todd and I are happy to have you!
The space
Enjoy access to the entire home. There is a queen sized bed in each of the 2 bedrooms. There are also 2 twin sized cots available that can be set up as well so the home can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. Everything is located on the main floor with the exception of the washer and dryer which is in the unfinished basement.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Upper Bay Museum. You'll find features like laundry facilities. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the vacation home.

This property was perfect. My daughter and I flew up for the Maryland 5 Star and stayed 5 nights. The location was great. The house was exactly as pictured… spotless, equipped with everything we needed ( we didn’t cook but everything needed was there if we wanted to) including shampoos and soaps. Beds were very comfortable but as important, the couches were so great to relax after a long day at the event. The pictures on her listing are spot on. Bonus was a great welcome gift…all in all a wonderful host who was easy to communicate with, answering questions before booking and followed after we checked in. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

This was such a cozy home. It felt like home away from home. North East is such a lovely town and from the house you can walk to all the restaurants and shops. If we travel back to this area we will for sure stay here again. Phyllis the home owner was kind, helpful and even left us a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Clean & Cozy!!!

The house was exactly what we needed for our weekend trip to Maryland. It was clean and the couch and beds were super cozy. We slept great! Very quiet neighborhood. The Main Street area was adorable with great restaurants and cute ice cream parlors. Phyllis was a great host providing fresh flowers and sweet treats from the Amish market. We will definitely stay again if we have another lacrosse tournament in the area.

I will definitely be coming back to this house. It was meticulously maintained and exactly as the listing mentioned. Phyllis was wonderful to work with and the house comfortably slept two adults and three teens. We love how close it was to Main Street and the neighborhood was safe. Great getaway

We had a wedding to attend and decided to make a long weekend out of it and so glad we did! The home was beautiful, clean and had everything one could need! This property was beautiful and comfy And spacious enough for us. The owner was in touch and checked in to see if we needed anything. We didn't. It was all there ! Great rental in an awesome location to Small Town USA

This was our first VRBO experience & the host, Phyliss, made it an easy care free stay. There was a welcome letter, fresh flowers & seasonal scent & the overall cleanliness of the house made it feel like our host wanted us there. There were plenty of linens, towels, utensils, plates, dinnerware k-cups, along with supplies like plastic wrap, storage bags, spices, condiments & the list goes on. The house (vacation rental) is beautiful & well maintained. Phyliss is & was a truly extraordinary host. I am sure that she must get tired of answering the same questions day in & day out, but her quick responses & outgoing demeanor made us feel wanted & right at home even before we arrived. It made us feel wanted & that we made the right choice. I would say to anyone that wants to stay in the North East/Elkton, MD area, this rental brings home the Small &Town USA feel an would be the exact location to do it at. The close proximity to Main St. in this beautiful little town with overflowing things to do, places to eat & shop, are all within walking distance or a short drive. We would highly recommend anyone wanting to visit the area to pick this location to enjoy there stay. We are already setting plans to visit again and will make sure we are staying I can't emphasize how clean, homey & well taken care of this rental is. Fresh paint, comfortable living spaces, well kept & stocked for that at home feel. If you don't make this rental your stay you are missing out! Thank You Phyliss!

Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and another couple joined us for a night. The house was perfect! Clean!! A little walk to town which was awesome!! And Phyllis had whoopie pies and fresh flowers for us when we arrived it was a nice bonus!! We will be back!
