Heard it Through the Grapevine is a charming 3 - bedroom house in North East PA.

Come enjoy all that Lake Erie has to offer at our peaceful lakeside retreat! With a local vineyard in the backyard, sit on the patio and unwind. Whether you're looking for a staycation or to see all that this historic region has to offer, we have something for everyone.

We are located in the heart of wine country, with close proximity to beaches, marinas, premier fishing, antiquing, Presque Isle, and the Chautauqua Institution. All are welcome to enjoy our slice of paradise!

Heard it Through the Grapevine is situated on a private street across from Lake Erie. The backyard is large with a vineyard in back, a fire pit with tables and chairs, plus a patio with outdoor seating and an 8 person table. We ask that guests please bring/purchase firewood to use in the pit. There is a nice deck in front to have a drink and view the lake and the gorgeous sunsets. A few houses down is a private access to the lake where you can bring kayaks, walk, or go for a swim. Two parks are within a mile of our home as well. As summer ends you smell the grapes, and can enjoy 20 close by wineries. The wineries have tastings and other events year round. Mazza winery is a quick walk from our home. The immediate area is great for walking, biking, and fishing. We have a long driveway to park boats and other toys. We have abundance of yard games available for guest use, including cornhole, croquet, bocce ball, giant Jenga and connect four!

The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath spacious home. There is a large family room with a new tv, dining room and our favorite area is the sunroom where you can play games, eat at the table, view the private yard, sit on the comfy furniture, and listen to tunes and enjoy our bar. The kitchen is well stocked with multiple sets of dishes, silverware, and glasses. We have 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 bunks. All mattresses are new. A tv is available in the master bedroom. Lots of pillow choices, and blankets are available for your convenience. A brand new washer/ dryer was just added in 2026 for your convenience.

Come enjoy the serenity! Whether you are looking to book our home for your family vacation, girlfriends' getaway trip, this year's fishing lodge for the tourney, couples retreat, or even temporary home away from home, we have the right accommodations for you.

We look forward to having you check us out! We are eager to share everything our property and the surrounding area have to offer, and are confident that Heard It Through the Grapevine will be your next 5-star worthy vacation experience.

Girls weekend

The house was very clean. The patio was a great place to sit and relax with a view of the vineyard. Short walk to the beach. Great place to stay.

Perfect location for us. House was larger than expected with many different areas to sit. Host was responsive and even had some snacks and cold bottles of water when we arrived. Each room had it's own AC unit which worked well for us. We will definitely stay again.

We had two families stay and it was great. Each family had a full bathroom which is nice. Property was well maintained and clean. It does not have central air but the window air conditioners worked great so it was not an issue. Short walk to private beach access was priceless. Mazza winery is walkable too.

Very spacious, comfortable home. Host thought of everything including tissues in every room, full soap dispensers and shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Tons of soft fluffy towels as well as beach towels. We loved the back yard with its large outdoor seating and great fire pit. The sunroom was our favorite spot. The neighborhood is quiet. A great walking road. Our only disappointment was the beach. Lots of rocks and not much sand. Definitely would choose to stay her again.

If you want to stay near Erie but also visit Lake Erie Wine Country, it doesn't get any better than this house. The vineyards are literally in the back yard, while Lake Erie is basically in your front yard! We saw the most beautiful sunsets by walking just a few minutes down the street to the beach access, and the vineyards in the back yard were the perfect backdrop for family photos. This house had plenty of room for our group of 7, and the back yard was very private, peaceful, and relaxing. Barb was an excellent host, the house was very clean, and the street was very quiet, with minimal traffic. The kids in our group loved playing in the large, flat back yard, and we all enjoyed having fires in the firepit in the evenings. Barb provides plenty of games for your use in the backyard. The croquet set was a big hit! Presque Isle is an easy 35 minute drive from the house, making it a simple commute to visit all of Erie's attractions. We can't wait to stay here again in the future.
