Take the kayaks out at night directly from the beach for an incredible glowing experience in the Bio Bay. Kayak at your own pace and enjoy private nightly “tours,” saving significantly versus guided excursions. The best bioluminescence is usually seen during a new moon, when the sky is darkest and the glow is strongest, generally between 7:30 pm and 11:00 pm.

• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.

We had an amazing stay at this home in the Cayman Islands! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. Great fall family vacation

We loved everything about our stay here. The location right on the bay was perfect and we really enjoyed having the kayaks to use while we were there. It was also nice being right next to the pool but still with a great view of the bay. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Excellent property and location. Pool, beach, restaurant and bar all within close proximity. Low key area away from the hubbub of seven mile beach provides a relaxing getaway. A bit out of the way so a car is necessary if you want to get out and about.Well kept and perfect for two couples.

Great vacation spot!

This vacation property is superb! It's literally on a beach, surrounded by gorgeous palm trees, and steps from a pool and the bioluminescent bay. There is a restaurant down the road. It's about an hour's drive from the 7 mile beach area, but if you're looking for some (very very ) quiet downtime, this is it. It was perfect for us.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Summer Breeze Island House over Spring Break. The house was perfect for my two teenagers, my husband, and me. Having two queen beds in one room and a king in the other was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location couldn't have been better - being within walking distance to Rum Point was perfect - we also enjoyed Starfish Point and Kaibo.

We are a family of four and accompanying us, my 75 year old Mother. Island House #12 was everything we had hoped for. The Rum Point area is so cool. Uncrowded, great snorkeling, beautiful beach, nice restaurants. And the condo had everything you could possibly need during your stay, was sparkly clean, great location. We definitely give this condo the highest rating!

Absolutely loved Rum Point, and property was perfectly located. It had kayaks in the back and was right up against the Bioluminescent bay so we could paddle out for free every night. Across the street was an excellent snorkeling as well as activity sign up. The property was mostly clean and had most of what we needed. An absolutely beautiful week. Condo is great for families and well equipped with all needs. Location can’t be beat in all of GC in my opinion. Prices at Rum Point bars/restaurants are high, but we knew this going in. The only issue was with one of the cayaks having a leak, and another being only a 1-person. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property was absolutely beautiful! It was so nice and so clean. Everything was decorated perfectly and was brand new. We enjoyed every minute of kayaking, bike riding, snorkeling, sight seeing, and fishing. Spent almost every day swimming in the pool there. We discovered the entire island while staying at Rum Point. There is honestly no reason to leave this side of the island! We will definitely be back!

Perfect location for ‘downtime’

We loved our stay at Island House!! The area was perfect, having access to kayaks was great. We didn’t use the bikes because we weren’t ambitious enough to use the hand pump to fill the tires, but a hand pump was available. Property managers responded quickly with requests. The neighbors were very friendly and gave us great tips on local cuisine. Thank you for sharing this condo! We will be back!!
