This 2 bedroom 1 bath condo is located on the 2nd floor of the Bayberry Condominiums. The living room has a trundle-style sofa and a Smart TV. The fully-equipped, eat-in kitchen has a dishwasher, range, microwave and full size refrigerator. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and TV. The second bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed. The unit is 530 square feet.

There is comfortable, modern furniture, pillow-top mattresses and flat-screen smart TVs, It is open year round and has central air/heat, cable TV, common washer & dryer (coin op) and parking for 1.

The Bayberry’s third floor contains a large common-area sun deck to enjoy viewing the ocean, boardwalk, & fireworks on Friday nights. There is an in-ground heated pool with a small shallow area for toddlers.

The Bayberry is located at 23rd & Surf Avenue in North Wildwood. It is beach block and just steps away from Wildwood’s famous 2-mile boardwalk. The boardwalk has five amusement piers, two large beachfront water parks, the tallest Ferris wheel on the East Coast and more rides than Disneyland. The closest Morey’s Pier is at 26th street and Wildwood’s battery-operated tram car is available for a ride to the Convention Center, south end of the boardwalk, or just to go sightseeing.

Great weekend in Wildwood

We spent the Memorial Day weekend here and had a great time. The place was just as expected, very clean, everything listed as there, and the people in the other units (mostly other owners that weekend) were very friendly. The pool was well maintained and great after spending a day at the boardwalk and beach.

Perfect location!

We loved the location on the beach block! There was plenty of kid supplies inside (bathroom stool, small potty seat, bed rail, etc.) Which really helped with our 3 year old! We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Enjoyed the Beach!!

Wildwood beach was an amazing place to visit. When we walked out the first day there was a school of dolphins feeding about 30 feet off shore. The second day there were schools of small sting rays gliding in the waves. There was a lot of space available on the beach and the ocean was, for the most part calm, and enjoyable. We were very grateful that there were boogie boards at the condo we could use. Thank you! Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the condo. We knew the floor plan would be small but the way the furniture layout is made it feel very cramped. We were disappointed that the pool closed at 8 p.m. and there were broken plastic lounge chairs around the pool. The TV was very glitchy. The sound & picture would go in and out. We tried to see if it was a loose cable but we were unable to get the TV to function smoothly. However, the worst part of our stay was finding used Kotex Pads behind the “master” bedroom dresser that was in the closet. Absolutely disgusting. I’m done with that phase in my life... so it wasn’t me. The condo appears clean, but If you look behind or move anything— it’s filthy behind. We moved the queen bed away from the wall so we could enter both sides of the bed and the moulding was very dusty and there was just grime and wrappers under the bed by the wall. One more note... my daughter would like me to mention that the toilet paper is “half ply” and it disintegrates when you try to use it.

Great weekend getaway

Our family of 5 wanted a simple weekend beach getaway. We have 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. The teenagers loved the proximity to the boardwalk and our 7 year old loved the pool. My wife and I liked that the property was on the beach block. The kitchen had everything we needed for making simple dinners. There were beach toys for the youngest, which is nice because it is one less thing to pack.

Easy walk to the beach

Pros: The location was very convenient to the beach and boardwalk and the amount of space was perfect for a small family. Cons: Despite the listing saying pets are not allowed, there was dog hair everywhere in the unit.

Very good place for a small family with children

We stayed there in July 2017. The place was very clean and nicely located 1 block from the beach and the boardwalk. The pool was also vey clean and the kids loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone.
