As its name suggests, this cottage is a gateway to some of Ontario's most iconic hiking spots including The Grotto, Bruce Peninsula National Park, Little Cove, and the Bruce Trail’s Northern Terminus.

This spacious four-bedroom cottage is ideal for families or groups looking to explore the Bruce Peninsula. Enter through the bright lower level where you’ll find a large rec room with a regulation pool table, a 4-piece bathroom, and a family-friendly bedroom featuring a queen bed and two twins, plus books and toys for the kids. Upstairs, unwind in the cozy living room or gather around the dining table after preparing a meal in the fully stocked kitchen. Two decks—front and back—provide peaceful views of the surrounding property.

The upper level also features three queen bedrooms and another full bathroom, offering plenty of space for everyone to unpack and relax. Outside, enjoy the covered patio with a BBQ, expansive yard, and firepit, perfect for evenings under the stars. With no close neighbours thanks to the adjacent former golf course, you’ll enjoy peace, privacy, and the natural beauty of Tobermory.

Bruce Trail. Ideally located if hiking is your passion! The Bruce Trail crosses through the area, and many trails are nearby.

Bruce Peninsula National Park and The Grotto. Just minutes from the cottage you'll find the Bruce Peninsula National Park, featuring towering cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment plunging into the blue waters of Georgian Bay. World famous hiking in a rugged landscape, home to orchids, ferns and black bears. Be sure to book a parking time slot in advance and hike to The Grotto, Bruce County's most popular attraction, a bustling hot spot visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. Its turquoise pool of water and intricate cave structures are mesmerizing! (5 mins)

Fathom Five National Marine Park. The islands and waters off the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, in Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, make up Fathom Five National Marine Park. Boat tours leaving from Little Tub Harbour in Tobermory can take you over shipwrecks to iconic Flowerpot Island. There you can wander the shoreline (bring your camera!), or take the rugged hiking trail across it, or arrange a scuba diving expedition beneath the crystal clear water. (5 mins)

Beaches. Just 5 minutes away there are two great beaches on Georgian Bay - Little Cove Beach and Singing Sands Beach. (5 mins)
