Originally on the brink of dereliction, No72 has undergone a comprehensive renovation, seamlessly blending old-world charm with contemporary amenities. The dining room, adorned with its original parquet floor meticulously restored to its former glory, serves as a delightful space for entertaining. On sunlit days, occupants can bask in the warmth of the window seat, observing the ebb and flow of life on the bustling streets below. The kitchen is all new and equipped with a handy fridge-freezer, a microwave/combi oven, and an induction hob—basically, everything you'd need for self-catering convenience.
On the ground floor, you'll find a practical small cloakroom with a basin and a washing machine. Now, brace yourself for the slightly tricky original staircase (not recommended for those with mobility issues), leading up to the living room. Here, original Georgian windows frame a view of St Swithins, one of Norwich’s many churches, however this is now the renowned cultural venue called the Norwich Arts centre. Enjoy the buzz of the street from the window seats or get cozy on the sofas with blankets in the evening, tuning into the 50” TV or your favorite tunes via the Bluetooth speaker.
Climbing another set of twisty stairs takes you to the comfortable master bedroom, featuring paneled walls, a king-sized bed, a dressing area, and an additional TV. Right next door, the newly renovated shower room boasts a spacious walk-in shower, toilet, and sink.
Venture upstairs again, and you'll find a laid-back space with two day beds—perfect for reading or chilling with some music. The attic space offers views of Norwich's rooftops, but watch your head; it's a bit snug up there.
