This was the worst experience we’ve ever had. We wrote the host several times on to get the check in instructions and they went unanswered. We arrived at 4pm as we said we would- and still had no instructions and no reply from the host. We had our entire Thanksgiving dinner in the car along with food for the two nights. We ended up having to throw most of it away. Finally the host emailed us at 7pm- we had children with us who needed to eat- and spent 600 on dinner when we had been planning to cook at the houseThe rooms are not as described- there were 2 rooms with one king in each of them- with two other rooms with 2 queen bedsThe location is scary at best. On Thanksgiving day, as my kids were playing soccer out on the lawn- a woman came screaming out of a house, yelling to call 911 that there was a man trying to kill her. She got shelter in the house across the street from us as police units (6 in total) arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect. An ambulance came and the woman was taken awayWe will never stay here again and wish the hosts were more accommodating with giving us our money back. We only got 20% back- and lost 6x more than that in having to go out to dinner and out together a new Thanksgiving meal at 7pm the night before
