Booked as my usual hotel was full. Initial impressions from the outside wasn’t great, but as you walk in the door you can see it’s had a recent refurb. Greeted by a very nice receptionist who was thorough and helpful. I booked an accessible room and was allocated accordingly. Whilst in this room there was an infestation of ants, I spoke with reception who moved me after inspecting the room. The second room was not accessible. This room was smaller, louder, constant leaking pipework and thin walls and windows that seemed to enhance any noises. Overall the stay was awful, with the mix of issues I wasn’t able to sleep and decided to leave to leave in the early hours of the morning due to it being pointless staying in a room you can’t sleep in. I don’t believe I will be staying here again.

Really nice helpful staff - good location for motorway, with good access to Nottingham, East Midlands airport, derby and Leicester. Room was lovely and quiet considering near airport and motorway

Very unwelcoming ; was given a room that felt like I was on the M1 all night ; shower didn’t work properly and the quilt hadn’t seen a washing machine for a very long time .

+ Fast, pleasant check in. Room had plenty of space, comfy bed, tea/coffee/toiletries/iron/tv/hairdryer. Good value for money. Nice staff. - Noisy doors close with a bang so a group of people getting back late at night makes a lot of noise as they go to their rooms. Sliding door into bathroom kept getting stuck. No air con. No lift.

I am sorry to read that there was a problem with the noise of the doors closing. As these are all fire doors, unfortunately, this cannot always be helped. The check in was good . The grill is good and the staff were very efficient. The property could do with a lift. The shower cubical could do with replacing as there is a lot of black in it

Good afternoon, I am sorry that you found the room too hot. Unfortunately, we do not have air conditioning in the rooms, but we do provide fans to try to keep the temperature down. As you can appreciate, we are having a particular hot spell regarding the weather at the moment. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

Nice and quiet hotel, check was very easy and the staff were really helpful. Room was bigger than expected, clean and had everything needed ie hairdryer, iron and tea/coffee making facilities. Restaurant across from the main entrance and parking to the rear.
