Building including room, halls, elevators, restaurant, pools and bathroom were modern and clean. Bell hop (Victor) very helpful and attentive, called me a taxi, loaded my heavy baggage, showed me empty mini fridge and safe in the room. No mini-bar, no coffee maker. Several large towels but no hand towels or face cloths.
Front desk man at check in didn’t want to give me a copy of papers I signed, “you can take a picture”, but then wanted to take back the packet before I finished doing so. None of the usual orientation material one expects to find in the room, restaurant hours, exercise room, pool hours and rules, how to access wifi. When I went back down to front desk to ask about that he said words to the effect of “we don’t have a
Packet like that” I asked him about wifi SSID and password and he took my phone and entered it but I had to ask him to give it to me for my other devices. Shower never delivered hot water, When I went back to front desk, all he offered was “did you let it run for 20 minutes?”. When I told him I had already let it run half an hour he said, “we can put in a message for maintenance but they won’t be able to do anything until Friday ” (this was Wednesday afternoon). I was only customer in restaurant but had to tap my spoon on empty water glass to get waiter to come refill it, when I asked him to leave me a carafe he set down the now nearly empty one and I had to ask again for a full one.
