The hotel is amazing! The hotel staff went above and beyond each day to ensure our experience was impeccable. The hotel is ultra clean and tastefully decorated. Thank you to Eduardo and all the incredible staff that made our stay perfect. We stayed at the Único hotel in Riviera Nayarit at the end of November. The experience was excellent, with standout service from our Local Host, Eduardo, and delightful dinners at the Kobo (Asian) and Italiano Lía restaurants “Love the Mixology drinks” The Rooftop Garden pool on the 11th floor offers stunning views. Overall, it’s a highly recommended getaway, especially the Escénica spa paying most of it with Resort Credits.

The staff for really good overall but disheartening when you go to an all-inclusive and if you're not handling them a $5 tip every time they bring a drink then you watch them avoid you. The food was good overall but there is no buffet backup so if you don't have a reservation you're eating at the coffee shop. And we were stuck here during the cartel attack and had to stay and they tried to hit me for double what Expedia charges. Super slap in the face. The concierge Carlos was extremely good to deal with.

Service in most areas was excellent, but the lobby bartenders, pool staff and coffee shop staff really stand out. Room is beautiful with high quality linens and pillows not often found in an all inclusive. Drinks were fantastic, especially those in the lobby bar. Food at all restaurants was great and far better than many other all inclusives. Loved that there are no buffets and the coffee bar is open all day for quick snacks and refreshments. Really enjoyed the nightly turndown service, though it was missed on our last day. A few things that we weren’t fans of: -High pressure timeshare appointment setting at check in -Long wait for breakfast (this may be worked out as they get out of their soft opening phase).

Beautiful room. Beautiful property. Fantastic staff that treated us excellent. Great restaurants until the cartel extended our stay three more nights. And Unico tried to charge me 250% of what I could pay to book it on Expedia. I showed them the rate and they insisted on $1,800 a night. I booked it on Expedia and they accepted the reservation but it was such a slap in the face to shelter in place when every other reservation extended for free. I get they have cost but this was absurd to the point I would never go back. Carlos the concierge was fantastic and really made to stay feel accommodating. So sad that the ownership that you would instruct your staff to act this way in panic and mayhem. Guess you'll enjoy your depleted bookings after the cartel incident and reviews like this.
