We stayed in a studio and loved it. It is huge and beautiful, and the balcony view is outstanding. The only disappointing part of Villa La Estancia was the slow service at the pool and in the restaurants. The first morning, we went for breakfast and asked for pan dulce, and they said it was already finished, even though it was only 9:15am. The wait for an omelette was also very long, around twenty minutes. Because of this, we ended up having our meals at the Flamingos restaurants. The food there was better, the breakfast buffet had many more options, and the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant staff at Flamingos seemed more efficient and attentive. Other than the restaurants service issues, Villa La Estancia is a beautiful hotel with an amazing warmed pool.

Family of 4, 2 kids under 10, AI package. We stayed week before Thanksgiving and had the whole place to ourselves for a few days before everyone else came. Overall decent experience. But for the price, I am a little disappointed in service attitude. Pros: cleanliness room/grounds, poolside service/drinks, sushi restaurant, massage vendor one minute walk down the beach, for a beach side massage $35/hr. Big con: they treat the timeshare owners very differently than the rest of us. Ie: asked for Pickleball equipment as they said the court use was included. At first the guy says the court is under renovation and no one can use it. But I said someone was using it just an hour ago. Then he said that there was actually a reservation in five minutes. After a bit of back-and-forth, he finally gave me the equipment. Someone showed up for their reservation but not for another 45 minutes. Not even sure why he did that. they have their own taxi that cost about $20-$30 per person, Uber is only about $5 total, but when you tell them you are taking an Uber, their attitude changes negatively and they make you walk down to get your Uber and not allow the Uber to come up to the lobby to pick you up. not sure I would stay here again as there elitist attitude put a bad taste in my mouth.

We travelled as a family of 6 the last week of Oct and we had an amzing time. Lets start with the highlights. Daniel and Jesus at the pool made the week. They work so hard to make your day the best possible. Tip them well as they work hard for it. Santana, Ricardo and Nico at the pool bar and pool service were 5 star service and treated our kids so well too. Sandra at the ince cream and crepes place next door was also amazing. Always a smile and friendly to interact with. If you are looking for amazing service, great resort and food and dont care about nightlife then this is a must visit. Its a little confusing (and misleading) online to food options. At Estancia there is on restaurant ( La Casona) for breakfast and dinner. Only lunch option is poolside. There are 3 restaurants next dooe yo ucan go to, plus the ice cream / crepe place for dessert. It was fairly slow when we went and were able to walk in anywhere we wnated each night. Flamingos does have an amazing buffett breakfast we did most days. The service at resuarants is slow, so expect it to be! And because not everyone is all inclusive, you always have to wait and sign a bill - which became annoying when they took another 10 mins to dwliver it. The grounds are well manicured and staff around the resort are all so friendly. You can tell the genuinly care! The rooms are massive. One big downside - check in staff are not friendly - they need somw training from daniel and Jesus at the pool!
