The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Christmas markets and the train stations. The room was clean and well-kept. However, there’s no elevator, and the stairs are very steep, which could be challenging for guests with luggage or mobility issues

Great Location, but read amenities carefully

Great Location but they don‘t have Staff from 3-12. so, you‘ll have to Store luggage at the Train Station if you arrive before that orafter you leave in the morning. Also, no ac or elevators May impact the comfort of your stay. 5 flights of stairs with a suitcase can be a challenge on a hot day.

Classic German Hotel, restaurant and bar

Top 5 stars all the way around. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Bar and restaurant are classic German. Location cannot be beat either. The staff were great as well. Highly recommend.

This property is about a 5-7 minute walk from the train station. It is right outside the medieval market and at the beginning of the Christmas market. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious with spots for our suitcases and still be able to move around. The bathroom was great - good shower and a towel warmer which was perfect when chilled. There is no elevator which isn't the end of the world but be prepared to bring your luggage up the gorgeous staircase. Great way to work up an appetite for meals.:)

Christmas market

We had ready access (short walk) to the train station and Christmas markets. The location was very convenient, even though we were 1 floor above the restaurant ( no elevators!) and overlooking a very busy pedestrian street, it was surprisingly quiet. It was clean but small and very basic…the restaurant was very good. Ask for an extra blanket as they are made for twin beds
