The man at the desk was really nice, but didn't even ask for an Id. The room was unlocked and the key was inside. There was 1 small table and chair. There was a lump under the floor like maybe plumbing issues? The toilette was missing the rubber seal at the bottom and moved when you sat on it. Worst of all, NO HOT WATER! There was no one there when we checked out, just directions on what to do with the key. We had a really nice view of the mountains and it felt pretty private. Lots of areas close by to explore and close to Yosemite south entrance.There is a saloon right across the street, which might be cool to some people. I think they spend most of their money on their cabins lol

Owner was friendly. Rooms need a-lot of maintenance and TLC. Sheets and comforter needs replacement as well as the window treatments. Flooring was not clean. Needs an overhaul.

These cabins with big sitting room and full kitchen could be much better if the bathroom had several hangers for towels and clothes. Thus, no investment needed to improve the cabins drastically.

The photos on the listing are deceiving. The room was not clean. The bathroom smelled like sewage and there were mouse traps all over half chewed. The freezer and microwave were disgusting. The box spring was extremely stained. The room smelt like it hadn’t been opened for years. Not to mention the outside property was in shambles. No water in the pool, old chairs and furniture everywhere. We were not happy with the stay.

I stayed for one night with my dog. Very convenient, cool spot to explore the area and around town. It’s also only 20 minutes from the South Entrance of Yosemite. I would stay here again!

This place is a filthy dump. No batteries in the not working smoke detector. It stinks like smoke. Not cleaned. And the buildings are in major disrepair. Save your self dont do it.

Just on the outskirts of oakhurst. Approx. 5 minutes from many shops such as antiques, salons, and food (mexican, bbq, fast food). Room was clean and check in was easy. Less than 30 mins from yosemite south entrance. Towels smelled funny but they appeared clean. Bar right across the street too, didnt create a noise issue.

The property's uniqueness was that it's only about 2.5 miles from the city center and has a very private and living-in-the-woods feel. Hence the name Mountain Lodge! The cabins are very old and the owner has done quite a bit to remodel and upgrade them to the best of their ability. Very cozy and will come back pending their availability.

The property was OK. It is very spacious and a nice view of the town from above. But the downfall is supplies and some of the conditions. The living room couches were very worn out and the ceiling appeared to have water damage. The fireplace was non functional according to the rental company. It only had a heater/ AC unit 2 rooms, the living room and 1 bedroom. It did get warm but not very regulated so we were constantly messing with it. There were no cleaning supplies to clean up afterwards, like a broom or counter spray. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper and no napkins. The towels were dinghy’s well. The driveway was flooded and we could only park in one spot to avoid stepping water. The quietness was wonderful though. I think if the owner put a little more effort in it, could be pretty nice. The property manager was awesome.
