Our recently renovated mountain home is the perfect home base for your adventures in the Sierras. Only 10 min to Oakhurst, 10 min to Bass Lake & 20 miles to the entrance of Yosemite. Our home is perfect for families, groups of friends or even just couples who prefer to have the luxury of space. We also welcome well behaved pets! So bring your furry friend along for the adventures! :) Yosemite Rocky Oaks Mountain Home is also our escape from the city, modern & spacious. The vaulted ceilings and open loft give the home a bright and open feel, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The home boasts plenty of comfy hang out space outdoors with a completely fenced in back yard. After long days of hiking, swimming & boating, relax in the back patio with a drink & lounge by our cozy fire pit. Play a round of Bocce Ball or if you’re feeling a bit country, test your roping skills in the lasso area!
The INTERIOR Space: Yosemite Rocky Oaks Mountain Home is spacious, peaceful and relaxing. We have done our best to make sure it is well equipped and comfortable. The living room is bright and open with high vaulted ceilings and an open kitchen with dining area. The back yard is large with plenty of hang out space and is fully enclosed with 6ft privacy fencing, which is perfect if you have children and or bring your four legged furry family member along for the adventures.
The home has the nest thermostat to control heating and cooling.
The kitchen is ready for the cook in the family with pots, pans, serving plates and even some bakeware.
For the tea lovers & coffee drinkers, we have an automatic coffee maker, a single serving French Press and a water boiler.
The living room has high vaulted ceilings, a large and comfortable sofa, a high efficiency wood burning stove and a large 4K TV. It’s a great spot to relax after a long day in the park and enjoy a cocktail or watch your favorite movie or game.
The 3 bedrooms all have ample closet space, extra blankets and upon your arrival there will be a bottle of sparkling water in each room.
The upper level loft is large and open with great views. For families this is a great area to use as an extra kid/teen hang out space, or as an extra bedroom as the futon sofa converts to smaller double bed. There are also a few games and puzzles. For adults, the open loft is a perfect space to work remotely from with great natural lighting and amazing views. For those that just want to chill and relax, its truly a wonderful spot to sit and read a book or plan your adventures for the following day while enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine.
The main bathroom is accessible from the hallway and features a tub. The second bathroom is attached to the master bedroom.
OUTSIDE: The acres around our home are filled with Oak trees, Manzanita trees, Pine trees and large granite rock formations. We share the land with several deer families, ground squirrels, gray squirrels, woodpeckers, blue jays, and the gorgeous California Quail. if you look up you may spot the red tailed hawks that hover above. We are blessed to have so much wildlife around us. With that being said, please note that it also means we share the land with wildlife such as rattlesnakes, coyotes & mountain lions. Bears are at times spotted in the area so please be mindful of this.
The EXTERIOR Space: The fully fenced and enclosed back yard is a perfect stargazing spot, keeps your pets and younger children safe and offers privacy.
There is a large dining table to enjoy meals outside and a cozy fire pit with furniture for lounging.
The 5-burner gas BBQ is ready to grill up a juicy steak or your favorite veggies.
Guests have access to the entire home and plenty of outside space to hang out & relax.
The garage will not be accessible.
The laundry area has a washer and dryer and is made available to our guests for use.
Other things to know:
The exterior of our property has surveillance cameras to ensure our home is kept safe and to deter any suspicious activity or unauthorized visitors while the home is vacant and in between guests. There are are total of 3 exterior cameras; one facing the driveway, one on the south side of the house and the other one facing the northern side of the property.

Our home is in a quiet subdivision with a few homes on large parcels. We still ask that you please be mindful of our neighbors and noise levels. We do have a few acres, but you will see the property line does border 2 other homes.
Our neighbors across the street have 3 very friendly Labradors that tend to wander around at times. Please know they are loved and cared for and will wander back home on their own. We do ask that you please drive slowly once in the subdivision.
To enter the house, you will be given a unique code to the door lock. No need to hassle with lockboxes or picking up keys elsewhere.
The city provides water from a well, which at times has high mineral content. Most prefer the taste of bottled water so we have added a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen offering filtered water. We also add a bottle of sparkling water with glasses for our guests in each bedroom.

We have taken pride in how we have furnished our vacation home. Please respect our place. We expect our furniture and kitchen items to be placed back where they were. Also please notify us in the event something breaks so we can replace and or repair before the next guests check in.
We have high speed Starlink internet with 2 smart TVs in the home, one in the living room and the other located in the Master bedroom.
