My name is Karla Tinkler I stay in the hotel Everything was great Tanya April and Ryan were amazing friendly and make me feel very comfortable been there. Paty the Cleanning lady was great friendly and fun. Breakfast was great and love you guys always have coffe all day and all night I will stay there next time I travel to Oakland California . Hotel great, service left a lot to be desired.

The stay was fine. My second time at this hotel. However, the woman at the desk when I checked in around 9:00pm (I think) was rude, unfriendly and seemed annoyed she had to help me at all. When I asked her what time the parking meters start in the morning - on the street out front of the hotel - she replied, “I don’t know, go check the signs.” She didn’t mention the free breakfast, although I knew about it from my prior stay. She was extremely unpleasant and gave the vibe that she hates her job. The man at the counter in the morning was the opposite. Super friendly and helpful when I forgot my key in the room.

Parking issue

parking in downtown Oakland is an issue. Only parking available at this hotel is the Valet, which is not part of the hotel, for $50/night. So you can either get robbed $50 by the Valet guy, or your car get actually robbed by parking on the street which will be more than $50 in the end.

Nice as always. Front desk should smile and say hello first! Do not wait for the guest to say hello. I think they pick who to greet. Hmmmmmm if you know what I mean. Besides that, great!
