This house is not what it appears to be

I’m not a poster but I have to share my experience. Pictures say a thousand words and this house was no where near what was posted. First. They claim it sleeps 14, no, only 12. The front landscaping was so overgrown you could barely see the front room window. The backyard yard is the same. When we first arrived we had to re-mop the kitchen and entry way because our shoes were sticking to the floor. The master bathroom sink didn’t have a stopper, there was mold around the tub and shower curtain. Killed two cockroaches in the master bathroom. The shower water was so strong it hurt. The drain in the other shower was partially clogged so you stood in standing water while showering. That bathroom smelled like urine. The kitchen cabinets wouldn’t stay shut so we had to put a wooden spoon to keep them closed. All the HVAC and bathroom fan vents were caked with dust and dirt We’ve stayed in many houses and this by far was the dirtiest and grossest. I don’t believe they’ve ever maintained this home. Definitely not worth the money they charge I don’t mean to be a Debbie downer, but I want people to know what our experience was in the event they’re looking at renting this house

Beautiful home

I book this house as a get away for my gf and I and a few of her friends and the house is gorgeous. The property is super clean, all the amenities provided were fresh, and the house smelled wonderful upon walking in. The backyard is also lovely and the perfect size to relax, sit down and maybe even have a glass of wine. Overall our stay here was amazing, 10/10 would definitely book this place again in the future.

House was clean and roomy. Backyard could have been kept up a little better. This is more about VRBO and not the property: According to the owners, VRBO doesn’t have a way to distinguish between a bed and an air mattress. VRBO considers an air mattress a bed. That’s incorrect and deceptive. Another company similar to VRBO changed their policy 4 years ago but VRBO lags. We were not aware of this when we booked and somebody went home because the air mattress was very uncomfortable. The 7 beds advertised here are actually 6 beds and an air mattress. The owner has since updated the listing with a clarification in the fine print. VRBO needs to be more honest.

The house if very spacious! We had a large group and there was enough room for all of us. Check in was easy and the host answered all of our questions right away.
