A very basic, no frills motel. Perfect for 1 night that won’t break your budget. The white towels and white bedding were kind of musty smelling gray. Other than that, shower pressure great. Will stay again for a quick trip to pick up our daughter at Berkeley.

The rooms were spacious and nice. The parking lot had limited capacity. I arrived around 9pm and there was only one space left. Cost of the room was under $150. Downtown Berkeley before you get to campus is underwhelming, with plenty of homeless folks seen on my morning run up to campus, but they didn't seem threatening. And you could probably pay a lot more for a hotel room in some parts of SF with the same experience. Summarizing, if you want to economize, consider staying there. If the downsides are an issue, stay closer to campus but expect to pay $70-150 more.

VERY DIRTY! STAYED IN ROOM #101 IT DOES NOT LIKE ANY OF THE PICS. WALL NEXT TO BED LOOKS LIKE SOME ONE PEED ON IT OR LEFT A HAPPY ENDING ON IT, ITS LITERALLY ONLY ON THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE WALL. SUPER GROSS. BATHROOM HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED, THERES ALREADY ORANGE MOLD ON THE GROUT, HOUSEKEEPING NEEDS TO INVEST IN SOME LYSOL AND A SCRUBBER.

For the economical price, I am satisfied. The man staffing the front desk was very nice and helpful. The place was clean. I wish there were hooks on the bathroom door to hang towels. But otherwise fine for the reasonable price with good moderately priced restos nearby offering Thai and Tibetan cuisine.

Sheets and towels very old, broken plaster walls, etc. This is more likely a second rate motel than a proper hotel. And the price was way too high.
