Chester Cottage is an original kiwi bach, older in style and original in decor, however the location is the key here, as it is situated in an extremely sought after waterfront position. No frills, but cost effective accommodation for its position in Oakura. The perfect escape from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. Offering direct beach access (slight over growth for privacy from public beach) is rare and situated amongst multi million dollar homes.

Open the door and be greeted by a chilled beach vibe and soak up the ocean and beach views from almost every room in the cottage.

Fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) and open plan living, and little nooks creates a certain warmth. Large private and sheltered deck with ocean views. Your senses will immediately be evoked by sea spray and all your cares and troubles will fade away. This bach is still used by the owners so does have some personal items in it, so guests need to be aware of that.

The entire second floor is a master suite with a king bed and bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and a nook where you can sit quietly and soak up the sea views. Two additional bedrooms on the main level consist of a bedroom with a queen bed where to can slide back the door and step out onto the deck; a constant reminder of your waterfront position, and a twin bedroom with two single beds.

Spend your days swimming, surfing, windsurfing or just wandering along the beach all day long.

Please note: No 027 cell coverage on the Oakura beachfront and wifi can be intermittent, so this property is not suitable for business travellers.

Please Note The Cleaning Fee: All linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state all dishes are washed/the dishwasher loaded and turned on prior to departure.

All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap and body wash.

Other Details:

The property is very well equipped with most things you will need on holiday. If you use a hair dryer we ask that you bring one with you as hair dryers aren't supplied.
