Yes the hotel was amazing, and old building totally renovated, the lobby is very nice with a very good selection de antiques mix with modern features. The room was very comfortable, spotless and beautiful. The receptionist was super kind and helpful with recommendations for dinner and information about where to see penguins!! So we super recommend the hotel!!!

Situation of hotel is awful-on busy traffic light junction of main highway with no sleep all night as loud Lorries and cars blasting music outside. We should have realised sooner as they left ear plugs in our room! Room smelt of damp and breakfast was minimal with cheap product you can buy from local supermarket. Although we paid for two nights we left after one-but they did not seem bothered or ask if they could correct the issue in any way-just appalling. Be warned!

This beautifully themed boutique hotel was a tremendously great find. Each meticulously clean room had a unique theme. The rest of the hotel follows along with the towns steampunk theme additionally outfitted in a Christmas decor. Staff was super helpful and friendly. A great stay.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable, clean, and stylishly decorated rooms with all the amenities you could need or want (toiletries, robes, coffee/tea). We arrived late and missed the check-in time but we were still able to get to our room okay (sorry for the late ring!). Breakfast was continental style with mainly fruits, breads and cereals and the woman responsible for cleaning and restocking throughout breakfast was simply lovely, and did such a great job making sure everyone had what they needed. Highly recommend this hotel stay! Also highly recommend the blue penguin encounter in Omaru, it was a highlight of our trip!
