Nice Hotel, small but comfortable, staff is nice and helpful but no extra amenities, I suggest at least a communal dining room, a microwave a mini fridge or something. They didn’t have a iron or a blow dryer. I didn’t like the scheduled hot water. I tried using the hot water during the times suggested and we still didn’t have hot water.

Great central location next to the markets. Friendly staff, simple, clean and appealing amenities, fairly quiet despite being on a rather busy street.

The room was clean and the staff helpful. AC wasn’t too powerful but it wasn’t that warm when we visited. On Saturday night there was very loud disco music playing until 3am from one of the bars beside the hotel. Showers were not hot. Location is right beside the street food and markets

I'm glad I had a great stay. I would highlight the impeccable cleanliness of the room and the kindness of the staff. Everything seemed perfectly organized and clean. The customer service was excellent and the hotel atmosphere was very welcoming. I highly recommend HOTEL POSADA DON MATIAS!

The staff was lovely and it was certainly a place to lay our heads but there was blaring techno music into the early hours of the morning that made it a little hard to sleep… and it was even more basic than the pictures indicated. I’m not sure I’d pick this place again when in Oaxaca.

Very quiet, you can't hear the city noise. Everything is within walking distance. Easy access and exit. I don't know if they have a restaurant, but it's not necessary; there are many places to eat within walking distance.

I had a great stay here! The room was simple but had everything I needed. The air conditioning worked amazingly. The room was clean upon arrival and smelled fresh. Staff was friendly and attentive. The house keepers mopped and changed sheets and towels daily. Even provided additional shampoo and soaps daily when needed without being asked. The fresh water dispenser in the lobby was much appreciated. Providing clean hot and cold water. Great location, 1 block away from 2 huge markets and a 5 min walk to the main square. Such a great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Very close to the Mercados and el Zocalo. Would stay here again. Friendly note, hot water is set on a schedule so make sure you read the sign posted in the room for hot water schedule.

Very polite, attentive and helpful staff. A heads up, while this place is just a few blocks away from the zocalo and all the main attractions of the centro, there is a noise problem. Be prepared for the usual noises of city life. Ear plugs might help.
