Perfect stay for a large group

The location of the house is excellent. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, bakery, groceries, train station etc. The house is spacious and we especially enjoyed grilling. The host was very hospitable and extremely helpful. We would love to come back.

The perfect location

Our stay in Obertraun was perfect. The house is located a short walk from the lake and play area, where my grandchildren spent hours playing. Hans was the most gracious host, helping us locate grocery store, places of interest, etc. The area is rich in history and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the ice caves and salt mines. And to end the day enjoying a fine Austrian bier sitting by the lake.

Amazing home only a short ferry ride from Hallstatt

This home was the perfect stay for our group of 6 traveling. Full kitchen, large beds, many bathrooms, as well as a large common room with Smart TV (and fast WiFi). The owner, Hanz, was extremely nice and helpful. The home is close to the lake and is a short bus ride to the Dachstein. There is a large yard and excellent views. 100% recommend.

Tolles Haus/ tolle Lage/ toller Urlaub

Wir waren mit 6 Familien im Ferienhaus am Hallstätter See. Alles hat wunderbar funktioniert und wir fanden alles wie im Inserat beschrieben vor. Auch die Lage war super, wir waren in 3 Skigebieten zum Ski fahren. Man muss allerdings (außer nach Krippenstein; ca. 8 min.) etwas Fahrtzeit einplanen (25-30 min.; Loser, Gosau oder Tauplitzalm). Auch im Sommer ist das Haus bestimmt einen Urlaub wert.

Wundervoller Kurzurlaub

Mit mehreren Familien hatten wir einen Kurzurlaub über ein verlängertes Wochenende gebucht. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz und Rückzugmöglichkeiten. Für die Kinder gab es Spiele, einen großen Garten mit Tischtennisplatte und einen Spielplatz gleich in der Nähe. Die Küche und der Essbereich sind geräumig und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch bei Regenwetter konnten wir via Schiff die Gegend erkunden und den Tag im angrenzenden Hallenbad ausklingen lassen. Die Kegelbahn im Ort mit Restaurant können wir ebenfalls wärmstens empfehlen. Freundlich, lecker und zuvorkommend! Wir empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus und die Urlaubsregion definitiv weiter! Danke für die Gastfreundschaftlichkeit!

Sommer i Østrig

Huset har en god beliggenhed i ferieparken, der er kun få meter til en fantastisk sø med super bademuligheder. Vi var 20 mennesker der holdt en uges sommerferie. Huset er godt lydisoleret, der er mange fine toiletfaciliteter. Det eneste der ikke levede op til forventningerne var køkkenet. Det var lidt vanskeligt at lave mad på det lille komfur med få dårlige gryder/pander. Køleskabet var også småt taget i betragtning at det udlejes til 21 personer. Men vi havde en fantastisk uge.

Rummen kunde ha varit bättre planerade- ett stort rum med många sängar- svårt att utnyttja Bra badrum och toaletter samt tvätt och tork Bra matrum och bra kök även om en spis, ugn och diskmaskin kunde ha varit 2 till antalet

We had a great seven nights at this charming place at Hallstättersee. Very comfortable and well appointed. Very nice to be able to do a load of laundry as well. So close to the lake and easy walk to the shops. Super spot. We’d love to return. t was a fabulous place which we would heartily recommend. Thank you so much!!

Ich kann über unseren Gesamtaufenthalt wirklich nur Gutes sagen. Die Location des Feriendomizils im Zentrum von Obertraun ist mehr als perfekt. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war harmonisch trotz starken Schneefall, was auch der Höflichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Besitzers zu bedanken war. Wir sind mit einer Gruppe von 10 Leuten für 5 Nächte in Obertraun geblieben, wobei jeder von uns danach vollstens zufrieden und glücklich war. Wirklich nur weiterzuempfehlen !!!!

(Fast) eingeschneit im Salzkammergut

Gerade noch rechtzeitig vor dem »Schneechaos« mussten wir Obertraun wieder verlassen, nachdem wir den Jahreswechsel in einer Gruppe von 10 Erwachsenen nur wenige Meter vom Hallstädter See mit einem großen Lagerfeuer am Grillplatz gefeiert haben. Das große Anwesen ist komplett eingezäunt, so dass eventuell mitfahrende Kinder auch einmal unbeaufsichtigt sicher spielen können und auch die Autos sicher abgestellt werden. Die traumhafte Lage lud uns zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen durch das Tal entlang der Traun, am Ufer des Hallstädter Sees oder über den Höhenwanderweg oberhalb Obertrauns ein. Per Bahn bzw. Schiff konnten wir den »touristischen Mehrkampf« mit einem Ausflug nach Hallstadt und zum »Konditern« ins Café Zauner nach Bad Ischl perfekt bestreiten. Als sport- und naturbegeisterte Skifahrer haben wir die Abfahrten am Hausberg Krippenstein, am Loser oberhalb Altaussees, in der Tauplitz und im Skigebiet Dachstein West genossen. Besonders haben es uns aber die Tage am Krippenstein angetan mit der längsten Abfahrt Oberösterreichs. Tief verschneit konnten wir große Teile der Abfahrt so ziemlich für uns allein genießen. Wegen der Lawinengefahr haben wir die Varianten abseits der Piste dieses Mal ausgelassen aber wir kommen wieder. Die Zimmer im Haus sind rustikal eingerichtet. Es gibt mehrere helle und modern eingerichtete Bäder. Die große Küche mit dem großen angrenzenden Gemeinschaftsraum hat es uns angetan. Nach gemeinsamem Kochen konnten wir alle gemütlich beisammen sitzen. Ein großer Bildschirm bot via Satelitenanlage die Möglichkeit, aktuelle Sportereignisse etc. zu verfolgen. Für Spiele oder um einfach nur in Ruhe etwas zu lesen waren darüber hinaus 2 weitere kleinere Aufenthalstsräume vorhanden. Die Herbergsfamilie ist sehr freundlich und war unseren Wünschen oder Anfragen gegenüber sehr aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit. Ohne die tatkräftige Unterstützung des Herbergsvaters hätten wir am Abreisetag wohl unsere Autos nicht aus dem Schnee befreien und das Anwesen verlassen können. Wie sich erahnen lässt, uns hat es ausgezeichnet gefallen und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Ruim, comfortabel, goed voor grote groepen, vriendelijke eigenaar.

Moderne badkamers, gezellige slaapkamers, foto's op de site kloppen met de werkelijkheid, 2 ruime kamers om gezellig bij elkaar te zijn tijdens het eten en wanneer je even wil bijkomen. Goede Wi-Fi, ideaal voor grote families, goed te bereiken. Prachtige skigebieden in de buurt. Wij hebben 4 dagen in Löser geskied, ideaal voor families en voor elk wat wils, 1 dag in Dachstein dat was een groter gebied voor de wat meer gevorderde skiër.
