Accommodation description:
This former farmhouse, peacefully located at 1130 metres, has been beautifully converted into a very spacious private holiday home for groups or families travelling together. The house has comfortable furnishings combined with the atmosphere of yesteryear. From the house you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Mölltal and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The ski and hiking areas of Mölltaler Gletscher, Heiligenblut, Goldeck, Zettersfeld en Katschberg are all easily accessible by car from here
The southern province of Carinthia has a wonderful climate with warm summers and real winters. The area is home to beautiful hiking trails and impressive flora and fauna. In summer, the public swimming pool in Obervellach and the Greifenburg swimming lake offer plenty of swimming fun, and the beautiful Millstätter See can also be reached by car in about 30 minutes. You can ski on the Mölltal Glacier for a very large part of the year. The Ankogel-Mallnitz ski area can be reached quickly by car. This house is located in the border triangle Austria-Slovenia-Italy, making it easy to visit cities like Trieste, Udine, Venice, Villach and Klagenfurt. For daily shopping, there are some shops in Obervellach.
Tip: By purchasing the KärntenCard (available from May to November and in winter), you often receive free entry and various discounts on attractions and activities in the region. From May to October and in winter, all guests can go on free (snowshoe) hikes with a National Park Ranger (maximum 2 times per stay). The homeowners will be happy to give you advice and tips
