Bright, welcoming holiday apartment with 2 bedrooms in a family-friendly setting in the Ore Mountains, at the foot of Mount Fichtelberg—perfect for a family getaway, including your dog. Children up to 4 years stay free; please do not include them in the total guest count. Inform the host!
Welcome to Germany’s highest town, at the base of the 1,215 m Fichtelberg. In winter, the area is a paradise for skiers, cross-country skiers, and snowboarders. In other seasons, hikers, mountain bikers, monster scooter riders, nature lovers, and those seeking relaxation will all find plenty to enjoy.
The house is a 5-minute drive from the town center, ski lifts, and slopes. Hiking trails into the Fichtelberg and Keilberg areas, even into the Czech Republic, start right at the house. When snow conditions are good, you can access groomed cross-country trails nearby. The whole family can enjoy the toboggan slope just 50 m away, where snowcats pull sleds up the hill.
The spacious 61 m² apartment is on the second floor of a private house, bright and comfortably furnished. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, a living room (extra bed available), a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and a bathroom with bathtub.
Drinks are available in the house. On Saturdays, you can use our bread roll delivery service, available for an extra charge.
For dog owners: Please note there are one or two stone staircases to the apartment. Your dog should be used to stairs.
Check-in is from 3 p.m. or by arrangement. A toboggan is available for you to borrow free of charge. Toboggan slope and cross-country trail are 40 m away.
