We were happy overall. But the AC in the main parts of the hotel were out so we would walk out after a fresh shower and already feel like we out in the beach heat. AC in the room worked perfectly fine! Staff was amazing! With a little renovation it would be stellar!

The sheets were dirty. There was what looked like mold on the ceiling, the curtains had holes in them, the ac was ridiculously loud but worse the water sounded like it was running over my head all night.

False advertisement

I understand that sometimes the beach hotels are a little older and not updated but the pictures vs my experience was false advertising. There was a piece of wood in the balcony door with a hole in it for the portable air conditioner exhaust to go through which was an eye sore. I didn’t dwell too much on it because I didn’t plan to be in the room much anyway but the second night my son must’ve knocked the hose out accidentally and it was so hot when we woke up. Also the lighting was terrible. And the first night we were there we didn’t have a shower curtain. But I called the front desk and they came with one right away. Right after that we realized there was no hot water. At that point I was too tired after a long day to complain so I didn’t say anything. I planned to complain in the morning but there was hot water in the morning.

Perfect View With Cleanliness/Convenience Fails

The views from the balcony are outstanding, you get the ocean on one side the bay on the other. Easy access to convenience stores and restaurants alike. Pool was great a little dirty but it's the beach so expected. Bed was super comfy slept fantastic. Down falls, the hot water was non existent and the toilet barely flushed. It got clogged on the first flush of the trip. That's the only things that held this place back. Yes it's a tad dirty and run down but come on it's the beach not the Hamptons

There where a number if things that made the trip let's say "eventful" such as the a/c didn't work and were told they know about it and would try their best to fix it. Next, the sink handle would come off when you turned the water on, the bathtub would have standing water when you used it, the beds were so lumpy and horrible to sleep on, we had housekeeping come in but never vacuumed the floors, pool on the small side. Plus side woud be close to some things.

Bonita. Was just that. Bonita.

Idk about you. But i loved it. Pool was heated as promised. I had a balcony. A couch. Halls were hot. But worked out with post pool walk. Parking was good. Staff were great. Game room was cool. I dried some clothes in the laundry. Ate snacks while i waited on the couches .. i ate at the bagel shop twice. Across the street. And hit the rope walk. And it was. Great food. And beautiful view. I walked to the beach in less than 5 or so minutes. Didnt have to cross the street. I seen a fox. Check out was like 15 seconds. Price was good i stayed there 5 days .. ac was loud but im an hvac mechanic so i adjusted the t-stat. And it was ok. I liked the place alot. It had an old school feel. It was great.

The sheets and bedspreads were dirty, stained, and wrinkled. The table and sofa surfaces were also slightly sticky and dirty too, and the toilet paper had been used. The room was not clean at all, and there was a bad, unusual smell that made us feel uneasy. When we tried to report the issues to the reception, we found that the phone was not working either, and we had to go to the front desk ourselves and report the problems. Then, an hour later, we found that the toilet in the room was also clogged, and when we flushed, the water did not pass through and came up, and we had to go to the front desk again and report the problem. At first, the staff tried but failed to fix the problem. Finally, after a few hours of waiting, they temporarily opened it near midnight. Then, they gave us a hand pump that if it got clogged again, we could use it and unclog it ourselves after each use of the toilet! All of these circumstances led us to express our dissatisfaction and request a room change or refund for the remaining days. They said we did not have another room and that we should submit our request and demand for a refund through Expedia. After reporting the matter to Expedia's support department, they said that we would take action to refund your money, but they refused to refund our money for the remaining two nights.
