When we checked in, we were disappointed to find that the “ocean front” room we booked was not actually ocean front—it overlooked a large dune, a cell phone tower, and had a bright streetlight shining directly into the window. We asked the front desk if there was another room available, and they moved us to the other side of the building. While this second room did have a proper ocean view, the cleanliness was below expectations. There was hair on the shower curtain, toilet paper stuffed in the peephole of the door, sticky and sandy carpet, and a kitchen tile floor that clearly needed a deep clean, with visible residue from years of use.
We paid $598 for a two-night stay in September, and given the condition of the room and value for the money, we will not be booking here again.
