This home truly has it all — two expansive ocean-facing decks, a private pool, an elevator, and modern coastal design throughout. Thanks to the open space across the street, you’ll enjoy unobstructed ocean views from multiple rooms. Plus, the 2022 dredging project added nearly 70 yards of new beach right in front of the house, giving you even more sand to enjoy.

Coastal Comfort with Ocean Views

Three bedrooms, including two with king beds, feature direct ocean views — perfect for falling asleep to the sound of the surf. Step outside to the wraparound first-floor deck, where the “5 O’Clock” Adirondack table has become a favorite gathering spot for morning coffee or sunset cocktails.

Beach access is flat and street-level, just 20 steps away across a quiet road — ideal for families and kids who can safely bike and play. Keep an eye out for dolphins often spotted from the decks!

Spacious Layout for Families & Groups

With three master suites (king beds), plus four doubles and one queen, the home comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests. Each bedroom features high-end mattresses for a great night’s sleep.

The fully equipped modern kitchen includes granite countertops, a large refrigerator/freezer, and every appliance and utensil you’ll need to cook for a crowd. Enjoy cocktails at the wet bar with its own sink, drink fridge, and separate ice maker. The oversized island seats six, while the dining table seats ten, and the outdoor deck table seats six more — plenty of space for shared meals and memories.

Relax in the bright, open family room featuring a large HD Smart TV, games, books, and puzzles. High-speed Wi-Fi (1GB download speed) keeps everyone connected.

Private Pool & Outdoor Oasis

Your backyard retreat features a 12’ x 24’ private pool (up to 5 feet deep), surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and stamped concrete decking. Fire up the new Weber grill and enjoy poolside meals with the convenience of a second refrigerator and freezer nearby for drinks, groceries, and ice. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach wagon and boogie boards are included for guest use.

Pool heating is available upon request for $80–$90 per day (rate varies by season).

Ocean Isle Beach is a family-friendly island known for its laid-back charm — no traffic lights, no crowds, just relaxation. For golf lovers, there are 6 courses on the island and over 40 within a 15-mile radius, including Tiger’s Eye, Sea Trail, Panther’s Run, The Pearl, and Thistle Golf Club.

The island also offers mini golf, shops, and local restaurants, plus a brand-new park just two miles away for kids to enjoy. Fishing enthusiasts will love the nearby piers and the Ocean Isle Fish Company, which offers fishing charters, boat rentals, jet skis, and kayaks.

Linens and towels are not provided but can be rented locally for about $12 per person, you are welcome to bring your own or use our "White Glove Service" for linens and towels with each bed made upon your arrival.

Wonderful Property

This is a beautiful home, extremely clean and with a fabulous location just across the street from the beach. This is the best equipped home we’ve ever stayed in : the kitchen has every utensil and cooking gadget you could need , including a separate ice maker. TV’s and internet were flawless and the assortment of chairs, beach supplies and equipment for a day at the beach were incredible. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and that there were no problems or issues we needed help with. Backyard pool is a great bonus.

Anniversary celebration

This house was all we had hoped for and then some. We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with our family. From the easy access to the beach, the beautiful pool and lounge area, the elevator, the front porch gathering spot,etc, this house went above and beyond. Owner was quick to answer any questions and provide direction for fun activities. 5 stars plus !!!!

Girls Weekend

After years of discussion, our book club finally coordinated a women's weekend away from families & kids - and this home was the perfect destination. Bright, clean & cozy, this home has all the amenities you may need. Located directly across from the beach access, we could enjoy the sand & surf from anywhere. The pool felt incredible, and there were plenty of lounges for us all. Communication with the homeowner was easy, and he was very responsive to any questions or concerns. We look forward to staying there again!

Annual family OIB vacation

Can't say enough wonderful things about the Blue Crab house!! The house location is fantastic, with just a few steps to the beach. The front porches give you an amazing view of the ocean, where we spent mornings and evenings relaxing and enjoying the view. The amenities offered were fantastic.... fully stocked kitchen, a wet bar with an icemaker ( we never had to go out to buy ice), an extra fridge and freezer in the storage room, plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas! The pool was a nice reprieve in the afternoon, with plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing while the kids played in the pool. The main level was a perfect size to accommodate the 15 of us, and very comfortable. There were plenty of games for us to play, while others relaxed in the living room and watched TV. The house overall was very clean and this was one of the BEST stays we have had in OIB!!!!

Fantastic Beach House

This property is excellent in every respect. It easily accommodated 11 guests, was clean, had everything we needed, and everything worked. The location is ideal, right across the street from a lightly used beach. Excellent views of the beach and ocean. The property owner, Tom, is an excellent communicator. He kept in touch regularly but did not overdo it. We asked for the pool to be heated due to unexpectedly cool weather, and it was done almost immediately. Highly recommended.

We planned this family reunion in June 2022. We added a special little one in January. Four generations ranging in age from 3 months to 83 years young. Absolutely stunning cottage, beautiful views, and impeccable host! Went above and beyond to meet our needs. Won’t need to bring much from home. Fully equipped. Would not hesitate to return year after year. The best birthday ever - My Mom's 90th

My mother’s 90th birthday was her “Best Birthday Ever” - a family reunion at Blue Crab. We were 13 in number, 2 mos. – 90 yrs. The house was gorgeous, well appointed and equipped, clean and welcoming. Some of us had done numerous beach rentals at OBX and had brought a variety of household supplies and beach gear but were nicely surprised that the house already had those. We loved having an elevator to move luggage, lots of groceries and at least a couple aging family members. Bedrooms on the main floor were perfect for the newborn’s parents and the great grandmother who has very low vision. We enjoyed the perfect location, immediate beach access and panoramic ocean views. The great grandmother appreciated that southern beach exposure for more sun exposure but less morning glare. Our group had a gourmet chef who spoiled us at every meal. He was able to do so because the kitchen was so well equipped. He and his helpers were in the conversation because of the open floor plan. The location is easily served by Myrtle Beach and Wilmington airports. Our host, Tom, was exceptional before, during and after our adventure. He was humorous, flexible, kind, responsive, and attentive to every detail to ensure we had an awesome trip. There was a whale sighting during our stay and he texted us to inform us. During our stay, we opted to heat the pool for 2 days. Tom took care of this last-minute request to the delight of the toddler who discovered underwater swimming “again…again…again….again!” We enjoyed the well-equipped, comfortable, private and safe pool area, heated outdoor shower and that huge Weber Grill used during our final feast preparation. We could not have asked for a better host or property. The pics online give a hint of how wonderful it is. We are talking about how to make it an annual event. We would choose this house and owner again.

AMAZING TRIP! Incredible house and stay.

We had a beach retreat for our college and career group at church and this weekend was so wonderful! The house was incredible, had amazing views, great location, and had everything needed.
