The outside picture does not do the house justice. It is much larger than it appears from this picture.We enjoyed our stay here. The property is somewhat secluded and it was quite which is what we prefer. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable.The beach was pretty and we enjoyed walking on it but the water was pretty silty during our visit.It is an easy drive on to Biloxi and Gulfport to sight see, eat, and maybe visit casinos. I would recommend McElroy's Harbor House in Biloxi for seafood.I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Always excellent!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home again. The location is quite perfect, with the abundance of sand, views, and privacy, you couldnt ask for much more. The home is always clean, comfortable, and homey. We are always disappointed when our vacation time is over, and already begin a countdown to our return.

The house was clean, and had a great beach area. When we first entered the home we were hit with an overwhelming smell of mildew. We did see some mold in the closet where the HVAC system is. I would also say the home needs to be updated and also better stocked. We ended up having to buy some bath towels, as the ones provided were either stained or to small.

Just perfect!

Just spent a month at the Island View Beach House and it was absolutely awesome! The location is perfect: beautiful views of the Gulf and bayou, quiet street and neighbors. It was a pleasant drive to all amenities. My favorite part though, was relaxing on the deck watching the everchanging water, listening to the early morning bird song from the tree next to the screened porch and watching the amazing sunset each night. Was lucky enough to see the green flash twice! :) Property manager, Susan, is just a delight to work with and was always available for any questions/concerns. Loved it so much that next year is booked!

We enjoyed the beautiful views, secluded location, and the elevator. We wouldn't have chosen this house if it hadn't had an elevator. Susan was a great host. She was always pleasant to communicate with. The furniture could use some updating and a few more basic amenities in the kitchen. Overall, we had a great stay.

Great location!

This is a well-built home right on the beach on a quiet dead-end road where you can walk for a mile and never see another person on the beach. Sleeping with the window open, listening to the waves is so soothing. The reason we didn't give it five stars is the furniture could use some updating, and the kitchen could use a few more basic amenities.

Location and view worth it!

The property was a little tired and lacked some amenities, but the view and the proximity to the beach made it worth it. We woke to dolphins right outside the place every morning and the sunsets were breathtaking. The porch swing was a game-changer as there was no where to sit on the beach unless on a towel. We will visit again but will bring at least a couple of beach chairs… the location is just that amazing.

Eat Vacation

This was the most peaceful vacation with my older children. Sue was so easy to work with. The air wasn’t working earlier in the day we arrived. She got on it and when we arrived the heat and air guy was there and has the air working. It stayed very cool all week. This house just felt like home. Thank you so much.

This home and property never disappoint. My family and I look forward to enjoying it every year. The house is always cozy and inviting and feels like home. Perfect getaway

Home is beautiful and bigger than looked in pictures. Screened in porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. Just steps into the water and a porch swing if you just want to listen to the waves . We had a great time and will definitely go back . This is the perfect getaway spot to relax

3rd Time Here

Our 3rd trip and was just great as were our other 2 times. Susan property mgr really easy to deal with. This was first spring trip. Our previous trips were in October. Both times are good. Think we liked Oct trips better. would highly recommend if your looking for quiet getaway. We bring our 5lb Yorkie and the screened porch is a real plus as is the lift.

2024 spring girl trip

We've been doing this for years. We finally found our favorite place. The house and property was perfect. Love the private beach and of course the lift. Great for bringing up luggage and groceries. We'll definitely be back next year.
