Enjoy beach house. The neighborhood was very nice and not too far from the beaches. The layout of the house was very nice especially with one family room upstairs. We did have problems with the refrigerator in the one toilet called to have someone come out and look at it and they never got back to us. Also the kitchen pots need to be replaced difficult cooking on overall or very nice plenty of room for family of 14.

Positives of visit were: 1) kitchen while disorganized had lots of pots and pans, dishes and utensils 2) the linen package was great 3) TVs & wifi were good 4) the house was acceptably cleanNegatives: 1) we stayed in this house in 2019 and it was tired and worn out then and our for 2024 stay it was REALLY tired and worn out! It needs a complete decorating update! 2) The living room sectional is terrible, old and uncomfortable 3) the porch cushions for some odd reason were stored in the living room 4) the bed pillows are old and need to be replaced

Family Fun - Beach, Pool, Nice Setup with Some Minor Inconveniences

This place was great. The online description matches the house perfectly. We had a full house with a wide range of ages and everybody was happy. Lots of activities close by - beach, pool, golf, casino, ice cream, mini golf, boating, etc. Great AC in the house (thank goodness because it was a hot week in July!) Unfortunately over the course of just one week, a repair person had to come three times. The first time was to unclog the shower drain because the water was not flowing down. The second was to fix the broken garage door. The third was to fix the dishwasher that was broken the entire duration of our stay. The dishwasher broke the week before we got there and the part they ordered to fix it took a while to ship. They couldn’t get a handyman out until the Friday before we checked out on Sat. It was kind of awkward to have the repair guy there for 3 hours on Friday, but understandable they wanted to fix it before the next family came. Also, the ice machine on the fridge didn’t work. Anyway, besides having to hand wash all dishes, I think these were pretty minor. We had an amazing time and memories that will last a lifetime.

The house in Bare Traps was wonderfully spacious, well equipped kitchen, good beds and nice linens provided. We have stayed in BT many times and enjoy the many amenities of the area. A special feature we enjoyed was the screened in porch! It is great for morning coffee and nightly games!

Cheer Competition Weekend

A group of 17 of us stayed! From the moment we walked in- it was wonderful. Excellent communication, clean house with tons of room! Neighborhood was adorable! And only 25-30 min to the convention center. It was the perfect place for everyone to have a home away from home!

Wonderful long weekend

We truly enjoyed this house and our Bethany beach long weekend vacation! I was upset after trying to get an answer regarding the “beach accessories” available listed in the listing. I contacted the rental company multiple times hoping to have an answer to relieve us from having to lug all of our own beach chairs to DE, however I was told multiple times there is no way for us to know if they are provided or not. I also feel that for the cost of the rental there should be at least a few amenity passes included! To come with a large group for a long weekend and have to pay $50 per person to use the pool and Rec facility is a lot of additional money, would definitely be a nice addition to this listing!

Perfect Family House

We really enjoyed our stay, this house is perfect for large groups! The house was immaculate when we checked in, the kitchen was fully equipped and the furnishings were very comfortable and nice. The neighborhood is also lovely we enjoyed all of the amenities during our stay (the pool, recreation center and golf courses). I would highly recommend this property the only negative was the slow internet service we had difficulty accommodating everyone’s Wi-Fi connection throughout the week.

The key code that was sent to us did not work. Had to call and get the lock reprogrammed. Both the trash and recycle barrels were overflowing with smelly trash from previous guests. No place to put our trash. Kureg coffee maker is broken. Had to buy our own. Both propane tanks were empty. Gas grill was covered with grease. Grease pan was overflowing onto the ground. Went to use it, and a grease fire erupted before we put any food on it. The outdoor tables on the deck were not usable. Wax candles had melted and overflowed all over the tables. Master shower needs cleaning. Grout is mildewed and glass doors need cleaning.

Everything was very good, we had no problems no issues if we needed something housekeeping and maintenance with their in a timely manner solve the problem. Good for large group

We booked this house for a large extended family holiday vacation and it fit the bill perfectly. Enough bedrooms for the whole fam, big kitchen, plenty of seat/lounging areas. The house has a nice floor plan but the cathedral ceiling and loft setup means that the living room is essentially always on the other side of every bedroom door. Not a huge deal but something to consider if there are lots of loud youngsters or late partiers in your group. Great location. Super easy check in. Would recommend.
