Oside Harbor Stay

Great location to Oside harbor swimming and shopping. The pool was great and the view was perfect. Walk to harbor and beach. Mile walk to OC pier and the strand. Plenty of parking and housekeeping was thorough. Will stay again!

Kind, professional staff. Clean rooms. The only thing that was missing was healthier options for the continental breakfast; such as boiled eggs. Too many carb selections like cereal, bread, pre pkg baked goods. It could be that we arrived to the lobby after protein foods were enjoyed by other guests. But if that’s my only disappointment, let it be known the room rate, great staffing, clean rooms and great location make this a future hotel to plan a return visit to.

For the price this was good. Hot tub was dirty and green color. Gate coming back into hotel from the harbor was locked when we came back from dinner which was an inconvenience. There was also some fighting going on late night. It's Oceanside but I would expect the hotel to know what's going on on their property. Probably would stay at the Holiday Inn or Best Western next time

Toilet ballcock valve was installed to high which in turn when the toilet lid was placed on top it wouldn't allow the float in the toilet tank to rise and shut down the water. so the toilet ran all day and all night. Simple adjustment was all it needed by a plumber. The shutoff valve to the toilet was half broken off so that should be replaced for maintenance purposes also.
